Jim has tremendous skills, measuring and custom fitting each foot to a superb in house built orthotics. When my Doctor referred me here 30 years ago, I was amazed as to how my walking became pain free. I soon realised that when your foot alignment is wrong, this causes, ankle alignment problems which causes knee alignment problems and finally lower back problems. Don't go anywhere else. Jim has given my life better quality. I buy 2 pair every year ans although my insurance company only covers half of the bill, I would gladly pay the whole bill to obtain the comfort that Jim provided. The services provided have always been impressive. Things have always been explained well to me and any questions I've had have been answered courteously and without any condescension. Purchase orthotics from this business with extreme caution. I would highly recommend asking to see examples of the orthotics before deciding to purchase. The product is made very quickly (while you wait, a mold is not made ), and is extremely thick. It would appear impossible for the product to properly fit into virtually all shoes, except for maybe runners or hiking boots, but this would certainly still require scraping out the padded inside. The owner of this business is fine to deal with until the usability of his product is questioned. He then becomes rude and agitated, and shouts. Many of the podiatrists in Edmonton offer several different types of orthotics. This business offers one type of orthotic, which is similar in price to the orthotics Edmonton podiatrists sell. read more

I am extremely pleased with my new orthotics. I've been coming here for many years and this time he redid the design to help with some of my problems that I have developed. I didn't know how painful it was to walk any distance until these new orthotics allowed me to walk with no pain. In my case I have visited AOS over the past 15 years and return over and over. The care and skill of Mr Ken Wasserman, is unsurpassed. He has a acquired skill and technique that has enabled me to walk, run and cycle across the globe. More remarkable is that I now fly from Toronto to AOS to have my orothotics made and fitted. I have not found anyone who can make these as well or stand behind their work like Ken. I have never been happier with my orthotics. I went to other businesses and was never happy with the product I received. I always felt that they weren't made for my feet. The orthotics I have received at Advanced Orthopedic are wonderful. They were made in a hour while I waited. When I booked my appointment I was asked to bring in a few pairs of shoes I normally wear. I brought 2 pairs and the owner went over them with me and suggested which pair would be best for me. I had wanted them for my dress shoes but after talking to Ken I realized that getting them for my runners would be best since I wear them most often and I am able to wear them at work. The hour went by fairly quickly and once they were in my shoes I knew they were perfect!!! I will and have recommended Advanced Orthopedic to everyone!!!
