At the next visit the "dr" asked if her foot still hurt. The answer was yes and they advised that they had to get approved for insurance to do an MRI. That was the extent of the visit. When she was leaving they tried to charge her for the boot we bought somewhere else. We waited over a week and called and asked what the deal was and the later advised that insurance denied the MRI and wanted her to do 2 weeks PT and they would send a request and the PT office would be in touch. I called a month later after hearing nothing form anyone but received a bill for the appointment that nothing was done at I called and asked for the 40$ co pay to be dropped because we did not receive proper treatment and it was denied by the "billing manager " so I asked to speak with the administrator and he said no and eventually hung up on me I then called the administrator and he advised that the bill stands even though there was really no patient care or advocacy shown.

I was recommended to Paragon while searching fir a new pain management doctor closer to my new…read morehome. First month's experience was fine- my dosage was dropped without being consulted, which i thought was a little odd. I was told to monitor my pill count, and was made aware of their policies, which i thought were actually better than my previous doctor - for reference, i had been with my previous pain doctor for over 2 years, and never had any problems. However, in the second month, my count came up short, and it was not because i had taken or lost them, it was because i was given a 28- day supply, not a month's supply - there is a difference- some months are longer than others. I tried to make the PA understand this, but after consulting the doctor, i was discharged as a patient for "violating the opiod contract". After recovering from the shock of this, i called later to see if i could have enough medication until my new doctor appointment, because i remembered reading in the contract that they would be able to assist with this. I was berated over the phone and told, and i quote "withdrawal is not a life- threatening emergency". I have a health condition that can become life-threatening if my body becomes too stressed, and withdrawal would have pushed that over the edge. Once again, I was just shocked at being treated less than human. So now I felt people need to know this. Maybe this is the case with all pain doctors, i don't know, but this is ethically wrong, and i will not hesitate to warn anyone who asks me about this Clinic.
