Now, three years later, I had to send my hearing aids in for repair. I live in Gunnison, Colorado, about 3 hours away from the Grand Junction main office. I was able to meet with Dr. Buisson at the Gunnison office (in Gunnison Valley Hospital) for my annual hearing test, as well as the return of my repaired hearing aids. Her weekly visits to Gunnison allowed me to schedule my appointment locally, saving me a three hour drive to Grand Junction. Dr. Buisson is extremely professional and very knowledgeable about hearing loss. She took time to reprogram my hearing aids based on the findings in my annual check up, and even reinstalled the Phonak app to my cell phone when I couldn't get the app to work properly. I often find today's technology challenging, yet my appointment with Dr. Buisson removed all anxiety. I left the appointment feeling like I had found a new friend, in addition to having found a trusted professional to work with my hearing loss/hearing aids. The quality of care provided by Western Colorado Hearing Clinic and Dr. Buisson is unmatched.

Dr. Adams is patient, empathetic, a good listener and answer-er of questions. He checked her current hearing aids that are 4+ years old and did not up-sell us on rechargebles, as he felt that adjustment and replacement of a couple components would improve performance. He refit, re-tested, ensured she could hear the "chimes" and tell the difference for low-battery and shutting-down (as she's been mistakenly changing batteries too often), and provided excellent service. Mom can hear soft conversations and TV both better than yesterday and I highly recommend him!

I called 48 hours later and left a message. Never had a call back. Again, I called them 56 hours later, after many calls; finally, a live person answered and said my HA were ready 48 hours earlier. No one called to ask me to pick them up. I went to get them; they are not fixed yet!!! No communication between the staff. At 10:00 am, I was told them they were ready the day before, and I went to get them the same day. Three hours later, they were not repaired! I was without my HA for 4 days; simply inexcusable! He said they have a benefit for a discount. --- Even tho I have had my aids for over a year, got a great discount through AARP, and am very satisfied with my provider, Dr. Ryan Crawford. I found out he is the only provider contracted with RMHP for aids. He mislead me to think I had a benefit instead of a Hearing Association discount program available. I felt this was unprofessional, felt greedy, and not in my interest, but his. He didn't even ask me if I liked my current aids, provider, or price I paid!
