Within 5 seconds into the session, I was told they are too old and can't be repaired. There was no testing offered, my description of the problem was not validated. My option was to buy new ones. I knew she was lying. I left with a brochure for new hearing aids. I called the manufacturer customer service and they said they still repair my hearing aids. I went to another hearing aid company and they promptly solved my problem. DON'T GO THERE!!!!!!!!

From the minute I sat down with Abbigale McCarthy, I felt I was in the right place. I had gone to a highly advertised competitor first and there was no doubt I was now at the right place. These folks even removed the embedded wax from my right ear, which the other place said was not even there. Much better immediately! The exam was very thorough and Ms. McCarthy explained this well. With no pressure I was presented many options for me to decide from. Ms McCarthy's amazing vibrant personality made this a breeze I now use much more of my vocabulary other than "huh?" and "what?" All she did was poke at her computer. She didn't even attempt to answer any of the questions I had. She just wanted to refer me to other doctors - no preliminary tests, etc. Another time I had a massive ear infection (it bled even) and I went to her and asked her if we could :start over" and discuss things back and forth with eye contact & let the computer be at first. She said she couldn't do that because she had to take notes. I replied that I needed her to make eye contact like a professional so that I knew she was actually hearing & understanding me. Her answer to that was for me to get another doctor. mel
