As a result of a head injury accident, I had a terrible scare about 1" back in my hair line in front by my forehead. This made me self-conscious because I could see people looking at it when I was in a well-lighted area. What a great experience! I've been wanting to due this procedure for about fifteen years and had met with three different companies in that time, including the one Dr. Pauls was with ten years ago. I remember sitting in the waiting room for my original consultation with Dr. Pauls and a man came into the office with a good head of hair and just started shouting about how amazing Dr. Pauls is to everyone waiting room. He clearly couldn't have been happier with the way things turned out. I remembered this guy for ten years and ultimately that's why I chose her for the procedure. I had services performed at Advanced Hair in February of 2021, so I am almost a year and a half out which is enough time to see the results. My experience at Advanced Hair and with Dr. Paul and her staff was excellent. From the initial consultation to the procedure and post procedure follow up, the staff at Advanced Hair made me feel comfortable and confident that I was in good hands. This was my second procedure, with my first one being the "strip" method in 2011 which was far more invasive and left a scar on the back of my head. I had the FUE procedure this time around, and Dr. Paul was great at explaining the differences and what I could expect during and after the procedure. I was a little more complicated case since sometimes the new hair can take quite a bit longer to grow because of the previous procedure. This was true in my case, and when I expressed my concerns, Dr. Paul was always available to answer my questions and assure me that everything looked good. I just had to be patient. Dr. Tania Pauls and her team are amazing. I had been looking into improving my hair issue for many years and finally decided to schedule the consultation and commit to moving forward with the procedure for the new year. The ladies here at Advanced Hair did as promised and are a professional crew. Dr. Lena Paul has a great demeanor, staff was very attentive besides fun and engaging. I'll have to take them up on the hair braids they offered in eight months. The staff talked me through the process over a few visits and my expectations were met. My wife is happy with the results as well. She says she would like to give it a good grab....don't know about you and yours, but I'll take her up on that offer soon enough. Listen and follow your post care instructions as the first few weeks are important. I bought a new neck pillow (air plane type) to keep my scalp off anything that could rub off the grafts while sleeping. My results are very good. In fact, "very good". I was back to work in five days, but they did recommend a week and if you have it, take it, but with the help of ibuprofen I did not feel uncomfortable or notice a drop in productivity. So far I am very happy with the process and I expect I will be very happy when the final product and the full results are in. I was impressed right from the jump with their consultant, but once I met the Dr. Pauls I was taken aback...She's downright badass. In fact, the whole staff was very excited and uplifting. I felt that I had a very clear understanding of the whole process and what to expect insofar as what they were going to do, how I was going to feel, what to do, how long it was going to take during and after the procedure. To be honest, I got a really good night's sleep the night before, but they give you a little bit of painkiller before the procedure plus they numb your head and I slept almost all day. How easy does that make?!? Wake up eat lunch, watch a little TV, and take another snooze...Boom day is over. I had an amazing experience here when I came in for surgery three weeks ago. I met with Fara and Dr. Pauls who both walked me through how the procedure would go and what I should expect in the months following surgery. They were both very knowledgeable and were very good at explaining what would happen to me during the procedure, which made me feel at ease knowing what to expect. I have hit my six month mark. I have incorporated minoxidil and finasteride into my treatment. My barber is impressed by the thickness and texture of my new hair.
