1 star for staff, Dr. Doyle is fine, he looked at my x-rays and my ankle, confirmed i was healing…read moreat each visit. I had the least experience with him, I'm rating everyone else. Scheduler doesn't explain charges, surprise bills show up weeks after visits of $120.00, just wondering how she charged me the initial amount I paid for, after the office visit for the ankle brace. I asked her how much it will be after my insurance coverage? She said $15, so I agreed. Just received the bill, 3 weeks later! I was scammed twice to buy a product they probably get for pennies. Talked to their person in charge of billing, she gave me a lesson, that it's my job to know what my policy covers. Okay! I called my insurance company, they were shocked that this office didn't bother to insurance verify. More over, they never even submitted a claim for the item. Not for this brace, not even for the boot I bought in January after my ankle was broken. I paid the amount I was told in the office, plus the "surprise" $121 emailed bill weeks after, that demands an online payment, with zero explanation. According to my insurance company, neither of these items were submitted for claims! Regardless if my policy covers the boot or the brace, they should have been submitted, AND explained to me if they weren't covered, given me a total prices of the cost to me! I would avoid this office for fraud! Are they just keeping the difference for profit, but lie of the first amount you make you pay! Of course it's nonrefundable, even though still in a box, because I bought it for my upcoming overseas vacation. $300 for an elastic brace and a boot! Everyone else can do better outside of this office! One of the x-ray technicians took 6 x-rays of my leg. Came into the waiting room, said oh, we need to take a few more x-rays. I forced the reason out of her, she said she took them of my leg, not the broken ankle! Obviously couldn't be bothered to look at my file to find out why was I even there in this office! 6 more x-rays it is. Never an admission of screw up, forget a simple sorry. Not a word. I skipped several "suggested" visits, because all we did was kept looking at my x-rays, kept watching my ankle heal. Like watching grass grow, for $60 a pop (my copay). Stayed in a boot, went for visit once every, or every other month. No, I did not feel cared for, but very much taken advantage of! My first and last visit ever in this office. I expect a call to change my review.

Dr. Doyle and his team are fabulous! He listens and is truly concern for the health and well being…read moreof his patients! His front office staff coordinator is extremely organized and so helpful in working around your schedule to fit you in with this team of doctors! I would not trust anyone else with my ankle or feet problems!

I've suffered from "hammer-toes" since my childhood, the symptoms caused both by wearing too-small…read moreshoes as a growing child and later in life by wearing "fashionable shoes" that had ill-designed toe-boxes. The result was horribly-disfigured toes and pain in everything from walking to working in the yard to simply standing. My primary care physician referred me to Dr. Scott Smith at Metroplex and I couldn't be happier. Dr. Smith Immediately recognized my issues and recommended a plan of action to correct those problems. I am now pain-free and even comfortable in wearing open-toed sandals in the summer! Dr. Smith is clearly well-educated in his chosen field but, more importantly to me, has an exceptional bedside manner to communicate that education in a way that's easily-understood by the layperson. He possesses a tremendous disposition regardless of the other challenges of his day, and his staff emulates his positive attitudes in making their patients feel welcome, comfortable and confident in the results. Thank you, Dr. Smith, for the services provided by you and your staff - I have full confidence in you regarding anything to do with my feet!

On July 28th I had appointment for orthotics I needed to be replaced. I was told insurance would…read morenot cover the 500 dollar expense. I told them I checked with Medicare Advantage and I was told by them that it would be covered if it was a medical necessity and if the Doctor Deyoe would include why it was a necessity. I called twice to tell they had not submitted an order for the orthotics and finally had my insurance call them to tell that they have not received the paperwork. After almost 7 weeks the insurance company received the paperwork and it was immediately approved. On October 6th I finally received my orthotics for no charge despite Dr. Deyoe and his office telling me insurance companies never pay. They were rude and dismissive the whole time when I tried to explain the claim was covered and no you haven't sent the request in. How many clients paid 500 dollars because of their attitude
