He listened to everything I had been through, scheduled me for the earliest available appointment, and promised to call if a cancellation opened up. A few days later, the phone rang. "We can get you in tomorrow!" Praise God! From the moment I walked in, everyone was incredible. Yazmane greeted me with a smile, Teresa took my x-rays, listened patiently to my story, and never once made me feel rushed. Then Dr. Jack came in. Instead of trying to sell me on additional procedures or making me feel like my questions were a burden, he carefully examined my teeth, explained exactly what he found, and gave me options so I could make an informed decision. Now here's the funny part... During the root canal, I actually had tears running down my face. Not because it hurt... Because IT DIDN'T!! After what I had experienced previously, I couldn't believe I wasn't feeling pain. I didn't feel the dentists tool filing into my teeth like I had before. At that moment, I realized I was finally in good hands. Since I couldn't fall asleep, I just sat there watching Dr. Jack and Teresa work together. They barely had to speak. Every instrument he needed was already waiting in her hand before he asked. It was like watching a perfectly choreographed dance or a magic trick they've performed a thousand times. Their teamwork was honestly mesmerizing. Before I knew it, Dr. Jack said, "We're almost done," and then... we WERE done. When I stood up, I cried again. This time because I knew the nightmare was finally over. Today, the numbness is gone, I can finally feel ChapStick on my lips again (which is an underrated blessing ), and while my jaw is a little sore from keeping my mouth open so long, the unbearable pain I had been living with is gone. I almost thought it would never end, but Dr. Boss kept reassuring me that some people are really slow healers. And so it was. After my permanent filling was completed and Mr. Boss gave me his final findings he hugged me. I was a bit shocked honestly, but it made my day. These people really care about their patients! After arriving early, filling out the paperwork and waiting 45 minutes Dr. Chad Smith entered the room and stated we needed to proceed with treatment within five minutes and directed that we not discuss the paperwork issue even though that was the furthest thing on our mind. This felt provoking, dismissive and unprofessional given the circumstances. We were also charged an unexpected evaluation fee despite having a referral from her previous dentist. Although this fee was later refunded due to him refusing to work on her because the paperwork issue it added unnecessary stress and confusion to a very pregnant woman and daughter. Additionally, the receptionist, Abby, was condescending in her approach and lacked empathy throughout the interaction, which made an already stressful situation worse. I took a full day off work for this appointment, and while the fee was refunded, I cannot get that time back. Clear communication, transparency, and a more compassionate approach to patient care would make a significant difference.

He didn't give me more until they were done, they rushed. The guy who held the blue light to my tooth was hanging on it like it was a peg on a rock wall. I explained the last 2 root canals I've had didn't end well, they only offered me otc Tylenol and ibuprofen telling me they don't prescribe medications there. Shortly afterwords, I call my primary dentist and they told me the endodontist said I denied all pain meds to therefore they gave me none. I called them and told them that otc's don't work for root canal pain, a fever reducer and anti-inflammatory is not going to help. Those are not actual pain meds. I was in soo much pain on my 30min drive home that I shouldn't have been driving, at this point I just wanted to pull over and rip the darn tooth out!!! They then asked me for my pharmacy and sent in actual pain meds for my pain... that I was told they don't do.. right? So I was manhandled, then I was lied to. I'll be taking my buisness elsewhere. I hope that nobody has to go through what I did. I'm a chronic pain patient and I have meds in my purse that didn't even touch the pain I was in, I had to wait 4 hours to even take the ones they sent due to interaction risks, because I already took meds in the hopes they did anything at all because they told me they didn't do that. I was screaming in pain at home in bed and couldn't do anything about it for 4 HOURS!!! All because they lied to me. End result the work is fine, but I thought I was going to get better treatment than an animal. *note I have every right to be upset about this. There is no excuse as to how I was treated while obviously suffering from pain on my way out of their office. I also explained I can't take NSAIDs due to medical reasons at the office. The amount if tylenol I would have to take would be toxic.

The recommendations that I received for my dental care plan was the most expensive and inconvenient procedure with no other options being considered. Then I was dismissed to the scheduler who tried to schedule everything in the next few days. She wasn't overly pushy and I was able to politely decline but I was disappointed. In contrast, when I went to another dentist for a second opinion, I was given more reasonable and flexibility options that address my dental care needs based on priority and most cost-effective use of my insurance over time. Two different schools of thought. I understand them both very well but as a patient, I prefer having my suggested care plan provide me with incremental, customized options rather than just the most expensive one size fits most plan. I called, the office confirmed they do this type of thing, so I scheduled my appointment for after work. It was their latest appointment, so I took my toddler in their PJs expecting the appointment to be short. We waited in the lobby for 45 minutes with my son starting to lose his mind before we were called into the office only to be told they don't do dental devices. They referred me somewhere else. Such a huge waste of time.
