Later, I saw Dr. Choi's ad in a Chinese newspaper and came to his clinic with one last hope. To my surprise, Dr. Choi was incredibly professional and patient! He first conducted a very thorough and detailed examination, then explained my current dental condition in clear, easy-to-understand terms--why the previous implant failed, what options were available now, and finally recommended the best treatment plan tailored just for me. The entire implant process went smoothly; his skills are truly outstanding. The new implant feels completely natural and comfortable--I've completely gotten rid of the annoying food impaction problem. Later, I also had him redo my upper right bridge at the clinic, and the result is excellent--stable and feels just like my own teeth. I called Dr. Momeni's office a total of three times to vet my insurance, the doctor, and his process before driving an hour for a consultation with Dr. Momeni. I spoke with two different women, including Shannon, and I was extremely thorough. I provided my specific UHC ID number and plan details. The first woman I spoke with told me they accept UHC "as an umbrella" no matter what the plan is. I didn't just take her word for it--I specifically asked for an official check to be efficient. She said sure, I know we take it but I'll "verify". She put me on hold and came back and said "Yes, we take your plan." I even called back a second time to double-check and was told "Yes" again. Momeni was scheduled as an early morning appt, I drove an hour, and took time out of my day. I filled out all the paperwork, gave insurance and Shannon came out and smugly announced they don't take my plan. Instead of treating me with kindness for their massive administrative error, she had a look of pure condescension and blamed me. She accused me of "putting myself in this position" by not disclosing my insurance--a flat-out lie since I gave them my ID number and they supposedly did an "official check" on it. When I responded that I would never do that, Shannon responded with a silent stare-down that lasted a full minute, and then said, 'We don't take your insurance' in a very stern, condescending voice. This was very disconcerting and patronizing. She behaved arrogantly and dismissive, as if she were trying to belittle me. It was frankly embarrassing to be treated with that kind of smugness after I had already double-checked my insurance with their office. And to be accused to deception is something that should have never happen.

On the right side he injected precisely into the ridge of the line instead of the line itself, causing a bulge which is still present after two months - it doesn't seem it will ever go down. On the left side, aiming for the corner of the mouth, the product was deposited alongside the entire length of the lower under lip area. Permanent and semi permanent products have a protocol of injecting under contrast lights only, with very precise markings, different from the bulky fat transfer surgical marker ones. None of these requirements were met. I still do not comprehend how it is possible, even if blindfolded in actuality, to inject so incredibly far from the target, and so precisely into the areas that need the exact opposite of augmentation! Upon the complaint consultation I did not receive an apology, but was told that the product would most likely not produce a sufficient result to make a difference anyway. What a great advertisement that was! Well, but this time it did produce a result. Apparently Renuva needs to be injected into the superficial fat layer to work. Therefore it indeed did not work the previous times when it was injected into the muscle! Ironically, at last it was placed into the "correct" plane and into the most WRONG location... I asked at least for a refund, which expectedly I never heard back about.
