I had an IPL appointment at 8a.m., waited for 15 minutes, and since it didn't appear that anyone was paying any attention to me, decided to check with the front desk. After checking they informed me that the cosmetologist is running late and asked if I want to wait another 10 minutes. I didn't because I would be late for work and unlike staff at Advanced Dermatology try to be at work on time. I was offered to reschedule but they didn't have any good times and didn't try to accommodate me in any way. I really wanted my skin to look good for a wedding but have no choice now but to pile makeup on my face. read more

My husband had basal cell surgery at your facility bc about a year ago. It was a very expensive treatment. We are on a payment plan. See photo. He called your office today to make an a appt because he noticed a very concerning spot on his arm. Different than he's ever had. SHE REFUSED TO BOOK AN APPT FOR HIM!! Said we still had a balance due! WE ARE ON A PAYMENT PLAN. Already made 5 payments out of 8 of $286 each!! What a horrible company not to see an existing patient!!! Then six months later I get a bill in the mail for $50 after already paying the original price. When I asked what the bill was for, there was no reasoning. The doctors are great! Dr Endly, Dr Miller and Dr Chapman...the best. The office staff at Centennial location are nice and efficient. BUT. The scheduling department is a NIGHTMARE. Repeatedly have had problems with scheduling; their schedulers are both poor at getting things done correctly AND arrogant. Not a good look. LOL. I talked with a scheduler this morning named "Dayona", who let's just say really shouldn't be doing a job which requires listening and executing a straight forward task. I hope Advance Dermatology can get their scheduling department in good working order soon. read more

I would give zero stars if I could. The doctors themselves are excellent and clearly know what they're doing, but it's almost impossible to benefit from their care because the front office is so disorganized and difficult to work with. The staff consistently seems confused about basic things like insurance, referrals, and scheduling, and any time you call to clarify something or try to move an appointment, you're met with irritation or attitude -- as if you're inconveniencing them by asking for help. It also takes over a year just to get an appointment, and even after waiting that long, there's no proactive communication, no follow-up, and no sign that they're trying to improve the process. The doctors may be great, but the system around them is failing patients before they ever get in the door. I wish I could recommend this place based on medical care alone, but the administrative side is so frustrating, unorganized, and dismissive that it completely ruins the experience. read more

I came here through a referral for an annual check up. The schedule fills up quickly but they had an opening on a Saturday morning which was nice to be able to get in my visit. They have a number of doctors and locations-- I saw Dr. Jamie Surovik at the centennial location. She details all that she is looking at, breaks down what she sees, what it is and how to treat (if concerning). Extremely welcoming visit! I highly recommend her for dermatology. read more

Came to get a mole checked out and ended up getting it removed to be safe. Dr. Surovik is always friendly and attentive. Her staff efficiently process your paperwork up front and then you are led back to the exam room. The paperwork is now laminated sheets so they're reusable. I like that as it cuts down on paper used. Preliminary questions were asked regarding my health and reason for visit. Then after a brief wait, the doctor came in. She examined my areas of concern and we discussed options of treatment. She removed my mole after applying a numbing agent to the location. It was over pretty fast which I was glad of. She informed me of next steps and care of the area and I was done. Parking is available and I'm always pleased with the results of my visits. read more

Medical care = 100%. Billing practices = 5%. Why? They billed wrong insurance, billed denied and they threated to to me over to collections even though I wrote to them, gave them copies of denial and what they did wrong. Months later no corrective action. Errors are forgivable. Ignoring the documented error information and not refilling correct insuance + threatening collections agency grossly wrong. I may have to report them to Medicare as I told them. If they fix it I'll revise this rating. read more

Had an appointment with a PA as my efforts to self treat a skin irritation wasn't working. I don't like being treated as if on an assembly line but i did feel rushed to get thru the paperwork and see the PA. Get in, get out and pay up the wazoo. I did get my prescription phoned in (but by golly that was a whole other mess, a review for CVS coming shortly). Bottom line is, what has happened with the time and caregiving attitude that was once common place in the medical community? Since my visit I have been receiving so many calls to set up a full body scan, something I have not been needing nor asked about. Thank you but no and that is my final answer. read more

Terrible scheduling experiences. I have had two terrible scheduling issues with Advanced Dermatology. Living in Centennial, I drove to Castle Rock for an appointment due to lack of availability closer to my home. I arrived and they had no record of my appointment--none. In fact, they sent me to a clinic nearby thinking I had the wrong place. Of course, the other place had no record. The second issue was I rescheduled an appointment from a Wednesday to Saturday. When I did that, they mentioned I canceled an appointment earlier--the one in Castle Rock! I had to tell them they had no record of my appointment when I went there and I did not cancel. This time, I go to Aurora and guess what they told me my appointment is 3 weeks later. Of course, the Doctors could not fit me in for a simple 5 minute procedure. A follow-up procedure to the one that did not work previously (just freezing a few moles). I am done with them. I am sure the Doctors are fine but the scheduling has been some of the worst I have ever experienced. Happy to give 0 stars for the lack of professionalism across the entire place. read more

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME. They don't need or want your business. I scheduled a consultation appointment, and when I arrived, I was told my appointment was canceled and listed as a no-show. There was no attempt to accommodate me despite the fact there was only one other person in the waiting room, and surprise, I showed! This business does not care about you, your time, or your money. I will take it as a sign to stay away, and judging from the other reviews, in the end, it was best that I wasn't seen or treated here. read more
