I have called on three different occasions over the last 90 days and have been assured that a 25 dollar copay that was paid during the visit and still billed would be taken off of my bill. Today received email saying the bill was still past due and going to collection. I have no issues with Doctors and services provided. Billing borders on fraudulent or incompetent processes. read more

Your new scheduling system is horrible. Spent 3 hours trying to make an appointment. No option to speak to office. Unable to speak to a superviso. read more

Terrible customer service, waited an hour to see Doctor for a follow up appointment. No apologies from anyone and on top of that was charged an office fee when other doctors in the office will call you with the results. read more

Jennifer the medial assistant was rude and passive aggressive towards my wife and I. Our experience with her was the worse customer service engagement we have ever had and will never return to this practice or never recommend to anyone in our social circle. read more

October 13:Advanced Dermatology scheduled my husband for a skin cancer removal at their Ormond Beach facility. He's on Eloquis, and we were advised that he didn't need to stop taking it before the procedure. The cancer was behind his ear, and Dr. Schultze (Advanced Dermatology) removed it. We were at the facility from 11 AM to 3 PM. At 6 PM, my husband woke from a nap and was drenched in blood. By 8 PM, we were in the emergency room with profuse bleeding. The ER doctor temporarily stopped the bleeding, and we returned home at 11 PM. At 3 AM, we had to call 911 again because he was bleeding profusely and too weak to get out of bed. Upon arrival at the hospital, the ER doctor put in four stitches, and the bleeding stopped completely. He was admitted to the hospital and given a unit of blood. Every doctor who examined him couldn't understand why any doctor would leave such a large hole. He was released from the hospital on Wednesday.   As a side note, Advanced Dermatology called to do the routine follow-up call on Tuesday to see how he was doing. I told the lady who called about our experience. Shortly after that, Olivia, the office manager, called to hear the nightmare story. She was supposed to follow up and get back to us to explain why this was such a fiasco. One month later, and a lot  of  incurred cost  caused by what I consider  a case of malpractice, Advanced Dermatology has not had the courtesy nor compassion to address this matter. Do not put yourself at risk with this company. They are strictly a big business, not a medical organization. They only care about the dollar, not the person. read more

I've been going there for approximately 4 years and have had great service. Dr. Bethea and PA McDonough take their time to evaluate and discuss any conditions with me. I'd recommend them!! read more

I have been going to Advanced Dermatology for 5 years. I have always paid my insurance co pay and nothing else. My last visit I again paid my insurance co pay however a week latter thy sent me a bill. I contacted my insurance company and was told not to pay everything was covered. Since then Advanced Dermatology has not ceased to harass me and continue to send notices that I owe them. Be careful or skip this place, very dishonest. I wonder how many other seniors have fallen for this and simply paid the erroneous bill. read more

Front desk staff very friendly and helpful. Can't believe how fast I was seen by the doctor and overall great experience

The physician's assistant, or whatever title she has, Heather is wonderful. the rest of the office is worthless. Don't ever call there to talk with anyone helpful because you will not be helped. Do not expect a callback when they tell you you will be getting one because it will NEVER happen. This latest time I have called four times and not gotten anywhere and no call backs. I asked to talk with the office manager and got put off again. I have a boyfriend and a brother who all go there and we will all be finding another dermatology office. You screw one of us and you screw all of us. read more

I am forced to use Advanced Derm because of the VA. I had Mohs on my head. The dressing fell off of the site. I tried to call and after 3 1/2 minutes of prompt to prompt, I was only able to leave a message, never spoke to a human. Completely outdated phone system! A few years ago they did Mohs on my nose. The surgeon's work was completely amateurish and it looked like my baby toe was attached to my nose! NEVER let them work on any area where it is visible! Its not surprising that the VA would send my to incompetents! VA is always looking for the cheapest provider, regardless of competency! My advice...GO SOMEPLACE ELSE! read more

There are many Advanced Dermatology offices. My review is for the office in Ormond Beach. I had a minor surgery to remove melanoma. Within 2 days i could see it was infected. The next few days it got worse. I called their office on a Monday morning and couldn't be seen until the next day. So i called my PCP who saw me right away. They cleaned it, and took a culture sample. The results would take a few days. The doctor also gave me a script for an antibiotic. Serveral days later, i went to Advanced Dermatology to get my stitches out. I told them the story. They took the stitches out and gave me a stronger antibiotic script. They did not take a culture. The next day i received a call from my PCP that the infection is MRSA!!!! Now they gave me a stronger antibiotic..... MRSA!!!! I called Advanced Dermatology and had to leave a message. Someone got back to me the next day!! Of she said there's no evidence the MRSA came from their office. Bull crap!!!!! Of course it came from their office... I have several medical professionals who agree. I did just now got a call from the PA who did the surgery. She apologized and basically rationalized that "it happens". It sucks that it "happened" to me. I will never go back there. read more

The service & courtesy that I have received on this phone call more than once they are consistent in giving the wrong answers on where the appointment should be. I showed up when I was supposed to be at a certain location on a certain date of one of their offices and I sat there over 35 minutes before they decided I didn't even have an appointment at that location that day before they had sent me more than one text reminding me of my appointment at that particular location needless to say I was not happy with the young lady that took my information over the phone and ask about this after the fact that I had shown up a day or so later she answered the phone when I called and she said that the appointment was cancelled at a different location that I never was aware of that I had to be at,if you can make any sense of how I'm trying to explain this bottom line is they messed up in the beginning because they told me I had an appointment on the last day of June on the 30th of 2025 at their local office in Volusia County in Ormond Beach. turns out I had to be there at 8:05 am I showed up at 8:00 am on the same day for that appointment sat there over 35 minutes they call me up to the desk and go oh we're sorry that you were supposed to go to our other office and it is in a different ZIP Code. I'm like, really so you're telling me that the text that you sent me was incorrect to be at your office on this date. Instead of The other office in another zip code you're wondering why I'm upset she goes well you're being kind of rude. Would you like to talk to somebody else? And I go well I'm upset and you're taking it as being rude however, you're the one that asked me my birthday more than three times when you could've jotted it down on a piece of paper instead of asking me three times what is the problem there? Your inconsistency of being accommodating to your patients that help pay your bills is very very bad.. anybody that's going to go to this facility to have anything done please make sure that you verify in writing from them exactly when your next appointment is and what it's for and the persons name. They don't have a notary there so you can make it even more important unfortunately! Make sure that you call a couple of days ahead. Get the name of the person that you're talking with to verify your appointment and the location instead of getting already and getting there and knowing it's the wrong place to be wasting your time and energy when it's not even your fault. These days a lot of doctors offices or even retail stores when you go in to solve a problem or to get some information they seem like they are not interested in going any further than they have to to explain why it happened what happened and that it won't happen again, they're not apologetic. They don't care. They only worry about their paycheck so they can pay their bills and have their life in order. Please reconsider when you take your business to this business Advanced Dermatology no matter what location there in that you get written signed reminders an appointment papers and the time is right also don't rely on that. Make sure that you call a few days before and that you verify your appointment at what location? What time? What day and absolutely don't forget to get the name of the person that is helping you do this just a warning unless you wanna waste your time getting up in the morning getting ready to go driving over there when you don't even have to be there it's your choice. It's your dime on the gas and it's your personal time that you have to take to get ready to go over there and then find out you don't belong there I'll leave that for a different conversation. Just beware. It's a common sense review!! These things like this obviously this day & time need to be extensively examined & re-examined more than once or you just go on wasting your time by not doing it it doesn't hurt to verify and maybe sometimes twice with the information that is given to you about your appointment and the way they handled their business. It's up to you, but I don't wanna live my life like that. read more

After being a patient for over 4 years, due to an emergency I had to cancel a reservation and the doctor still charged me $50 for an exam that they did not perform. My advice would be to find a more reputable doctor and avoid this clinic. read more

Very efficient. I have had several visits to this office for full body screenings. This is the only dermatological experience I have had so I cannot offer a comparison to other practices. Dr. Hanna Leonard is the best: professional, friendly, and highly competent. Accurate in diagnosing and treating the condition.

Advanced dermatology is by far the most efficient and on time Derm/doctor visit I have ever had. The people were super nice and on schedule if not early. I've tried another dermatology location on nova Road, which will remain nameless, that couldn't even show up on your scheduled appointment. Clients and receptionist behind the desk said that is normal for them to run very late. They lost my business on the first visit. read more

Great office -staff is kind and polite - the care is excellent and thank you for taking my concerns to heart

Great office! I went for a full body skin cancer screening . Dr McDonough was very professional, and made me feel that I had a thorough and complete checkup with no evidence of cancer. I was done in half an hour, including filling in new patient forms.I have scheduled my next check at that office. read more

Great team there , always get appointments when I need one and they take care of my needs , won't go anywhere else

I had a consultation to get rid of brown spots and wrinkles and seen Beth McDonough who is good. And she gave me a sheet of items she recommended and I took them home and looked them up and had a lot of questions how they would perform the procedures and what I would feel like and other questions. So I called the office to speak with her and was told I would have to set up a meeting and it would cost another $50 like the last time that took about 10 minutes of her time. I had a peel from this organization a month ago and very little results. read more

Advanced Dermatology of Ormond Beach is worthless. I've never had a SKIN CANCER SCREENING where the doctor only looked at ONE ARM and ONE LEG. She actually said, "you don't need to take your shirt off". So, she didn't notice the basil cell carcinoma scar from its' removal years ago. This was after I told her melanoma runs in my family. I tried to get Humana to do something but they didn't care to so I left them for an insurance company that uses a different dermatologist. I canceled my return appointment with Advanced, but then, months later, they emailed an appointment confirmation so I had to cancel again. If you're concerned about skin cancer skip Advanced, because they're not concerned about it, not at all. read more

The office is the most efficiently run doctor's office I've been to since moving to Florida 11 years ago. I had squamous cells removed from my right temple. I was very nervous. That's an understatement! I sincerely appreciate the assurances from each medical professional who performed their task during the procedure. I highly recommend ADCS to anyone considering their practice. I am over-the-moon happy with my experience with them. read more

This place is horrible... i have been here 3 times and have had an issue every time...I will not be rescheduling another appointment. No return calls, waiting over an hour for scheduled appointment with no communication from front office. Unable to complete full skin check during previous appt. Even though that was part of what the appointment was for. If you are able, use another provider in town. read more

The Front Desk Receptionists are short of being rude. While they acknowledge people that come in, they are very selective. I have only been there twice, and I have never been replied back to a greeting I offered, or even acknowledged when I sign in. And when I wanted to pose a question, I was told to sit down and was advised "we will call you". Being in a service-oriented business, I expected them to at least be receptive. read more

Let me start by saying I initially went to a different dermatologist and after 6 months of waiting to get on Accutane (the entire duration I was supposed to be on it) they kept forgetting to complete any and all tasks needed to start it and I never received treatment. I decided to try again and went, reluctantly, to this practice and saw Mia Hardock.. amazing!!! They're so kind there, they genuinely care and I felt comfortable and at ease every visit. I'm about to start Accutane now and I as of now, don't have health insurance, so Mia kindly found the cheapest pharmacy for my prescription, I mean, how nice? I'm from Washington D.C and I was losing faith in all things medical in Florida until I came here. I'm so happy I found this practice and encourage anyone to go here! read more

I have been seeing dr. Solomon for a couple of years. I couldn't ask for a better doctor! He looks at the whole picture when he sees you and finds out the root of the problem. She takes great care of my skin and the results I've seen have been incredible. She's very kind and knowledgeable. I'm very happy with her care. read more

Ms. Elizabeth Mcdonough is the best dermatologist I've seen. I've been through countless derms and treatments. I booked an apt for a follow up and fillers, drove 30 minutes to my apt, only to be told they were sorry but the incompetent employee who booked my apt only made it for a follow up... so instead of fixing their mistake they just told me sorry. The most unprofessional and shady staff i've ever been "treated" by, i would not recommend this company to anyone.

I have been to three dermatologists for a keloid from an ear piercing and was finally able to find some help with Hannah Leonard, a Physicians Assistant at the practice in Ormond Beach. I was able to get a same day appointment, and was taken into the office quickly. Everyone was courteous and made me feel at ease. Ms. Leonard offered me many options and went over the pros and cons for each one. It will take a few weeks to see if the procedure yields positive results, but I'm so happy with the service I felt I had to give a positive review. read more
