The receptionist asked that I be there by 2:30 to "fill out paperwork." At 2:32 when I arrived there was no other patient in the waiting room. I filled out one form and provided my insurance cards. I was then told that the hygienist had "taken another patient" and I would not be finished in time to make my appointment. I was told that I should reschedule. I asked to speak to the dentist and then I was told that the dentist would do my cleaning and I would be done in time. After being taken back by a dental assistant and x-rayed, I was then informed that the hygienist would see me after all. An older and very heavy set woman introduced herself as the hygienist. I asked her why she was 40 minutes late for my appointment and she rudely shrugged her shoulders and said "I decided to take another patient first." She smelled bad and was not at all gentle in cleaning my teeth. She then squirted water all over my face and tried to downplay her obvious incompetence and rudeness. There is no chance whatsoever I will ever let that unprofessional, rude woman near my mouth again. On the other hand Dr. Mayer seemed very nice and competent. The young dental assistant was also nice and seemed very good at her job. Perhaps Dr. Mayer should look into hiring a new hygienist because the one he has is horrible at her job and very rude and nasty too.

Arrived early for my appointment. Waited in the lobby with no one else for 30 mins and only after I asked if it was customary to wait this long for an appt, the front desk lady finally tried to take me to the back. I refused as I was uncertain if the chair time would be longer. My only recommendation is to respect people's time! My appt was preset in advance and I still had to wait an extended period of time which is unacceptable. You don't know if I was on my lunch break or whatever and no one cared to explain the wait time as if it was normal. I decided to cancel the appt and any future appts.

Due to an accident I needed a root canal on my front tooth and I was highly concerned it would be noticeable. Dr. Rappold did amazing work, I didn't feel any pain throughout the procedure and you can't even tell I had any work done at all. They were also able squeeze me in for that appointment the same week. I've never had any problems with this office, like previous reviews mention, nor have I ever been charged any fees without my knowledge.

The visits started off great. I had the all in four implants installed on upper side of mouth…read more Once the implant was installed it was time for the temp permanent denture. The dentist worked on it for a long time trying to snap it in. It never did snap in and I told them it wasn't, but I was told I didn't feel it because my mouth was numb. I spent the next 4/5 months making visit to them trying to get it adjusted right because it was moving around in my mouth making it very difficult to talk or eat. They would work on it and send me on my way. By the time I walked to my truck in parking lot it would have already fall out. This was a very scary feeling thinking this would be happening for the rest of my life. Now it's time for the permanent implants and I'm thinking maybe this would be better and it was not. By this point I have spent right at 14 thousands dollars for failed dentures . I continued making trips to this office trying to get this corrected but they never could. I went to another Denist to see what they could do. He told me the dentist put my implants in crooked and that was the reason the dentures would not snap in. He showed me the x-ray and pointed out how most of the implant was outside the bone because she put them in incorrectly. He removed the implants and installed new ones for 13 thousands dollars making this 27 thousand total in cost. Now I have no problems with my snap in dentures, but I went through about a year and a half of pain and suffering. I reached out to the original dentist to see how we can make this right without getting lawyers involve, but I guess they did not want to take that route. Please find another office to go to. The same dentist also works at Covington office as well.

Tho difficult , I took a week of vacation days off from work to allow for healing. A couple of days before the appt , I get a call reminding me of the appt,.then one a couple of hours later canceling it altogether and asking me to reschedule. I explained how difficult it was for me to get the days off work, how I would be unable to cancel my vacation days I had already taken and how I would be unable to take any additional time to reschedule. I was told Dr Davenport would be at the Hammond location that day, so I offered to drive there but I was told no,..I had to reschedule. So my PTO was wasted, I am unable to take any more to get the work done.I feel that my family's and my business was not valued and our time not respected, so am currently looking for a new dentist.

I had an appointment with my dentist Dr. White. When I arrived at the clinic I was told that Dr…read more White had moved out-of-state and I would be seeing Dr. David Davenport. After examining my teeth, he indicated that I need a filling and said he would do so that day. The dental assistant deadened the tooth and an hour later the dentist had still not filled the tooth so I left. When I later went to a different dental clinic, the dentist indicated that I did not need any fillings. I'm glad I left Dr. Davenport's clinic. He would have given me an unnecessary filling. I would not recommend Dr. Davenport to anyone!
