When I first went to this location, Lee hwy, I thought it was going to be ok..I went to the sleep study location in Ringgold, ga...the room and bed felt like a run down motel. I ​​decided to trudge through it and I paid my 500$ deductable..the next week I was back for a fitting...another 500$ ..the first one i was told was my deductible. But they never charged my insurance.the second one I was told I owed because we used a health care expense card...well we paid out of pocket this time..still no charge to insurance..the cpap they tried to charge 1700$....we. refused. They then came back into the room and gave us a different price...is this haggle with your medical supplies? Come to find out..our insurance covers 100% sleep study , follow up fitting and cpap machines. We paid in totally now 1300.00$ that we should have only paid in 40$ office visit for, I've brought in paperwork from my insurance company showing paid in full and customer(me) owing 0 $..we have called them 3 times now wanting a refund of our money we should not have paid in. Also they are still charging us for a paid cpap machine through our debit card.. I'm calling them tomarrow, and if it's not taken care of, we are continuing waiting the bbb, and our lawyers. This is a scam place of epic purportions. Do not do buisness here. read more

Medicare required a sleep study for a new CPAP. I was not too thrilled as I previously had two different studies. I only wanted a new machine as mine was over 7 years old. Advanced Center for Sleep personnel were kind and professional. The sleep study took place at their facility on Brainerd. It was clean and the technician was very nice and put me at ease. My room was big, clean and homey plus I had my own bathroom. If you are required to have a sleep study I definitely recommend this business. Everyone is there to help you, the doctors, nurses, technicians, front desk workers, were all outstanding. read more

We were new in the area and switching doctors. Dr. Chandra forced us to do a sleep study even though they had one on file. They then stopped medication we've been on for years, cut the other one in half and refused to refill another. The next day in the mail we get an overnighted and signed letter. We were dropped as a patient. Abandoned. They dropped as a patient after we asked what their plan for treatment was. I guess they don't like it when patients ask questions? Do not go here, worst doctors and nurses we've ever had to encounter. Dr. Chandra is a spineless and ignorant sleep doctor. Thera Thomason should be especially avoided! She will blindly pull you off meds, prescribe new ones she isn't familiar with and then prescribe the very thing she first said was "dangerous." This business is collection of incompetent medical rejects who pride themselves on overcharging the sleep community and posing as experts. Don't be fooled by an imitation. They won't help you and they most certainly will drain you for every dollar they can. These snake oil doctors are dangerous and should be avoided at all costs. read more

A bait and switch scheme. I saw Dr. Chandra at my first visit, and it was all downhill with PA's after that. The second visit was pointless. The PA seemed on autopilot. After a fruitless back and forth, I proposed a plan of action (basically the one given in a brochure I received at the first visit) which she thought sounded great. In my third visit, the one post sleep study, the office forgot I was still waiting to be seen. After waiting about an hour and a half, I was finally seen by another PA who became acquainted with my history on the fly. Her only suggestion was to keep plugging away at what I had been doing and come back for a 4th visit in a couple of weeks. Needless to say, I won't be back. read more

I am a long time patient but I have basically taken care of my own CPAP issues and maintenance . I hate going to the Cleveland office, it's an office shared with a foot Dr and it's a shit hole. The staff and PA that work the occasional Monday for Cleveland Patients don't seem like they want to be there either. I am very happy I have a CPAP I just wish there where better choices. read more

I was impressed with the Advanced Center For Sleep Disorders in general and Dr. Chandra and the bubbly young intake woman in particular. I have friends that highly recommend him and they all have sleep apnea and sleep with a c-pap machine (I think that's what it's called). I was hesitant to go, thinking he would tell us to do a sleep study and pass out a c-pap machine. I was pleasantly surprised that he did not have a one-size-fits-all approach. He did request a sleep study but ruled out sleep apnea and diagnosed my autistic adult son's sleep disorder the first visit. He took lots of time to educate and listen. He is kind, humble and up-to-date on sleep research. My son has had debilitating sleep issues since childhood. No Dr or Psychiatrist has ever seemed to get that, much less provide meaningful tests or solutions. I'm so glad we went as I finally have hope that Dr Chandra clearly gets the issue, and knows how to fix it (without medication). Granted, it will probably take 3-6 months, but what's that compared to almost 20 years of sleep exhaustion and mixed up days and nights?!? I have had issues with sleep apnea for quite a while and wasn't aware how bad it was. I was sleepy and groggy during the day, fell asleep watching TV many times or from sitting still, etc. I had about a 45 minute wait in the exam room before Dr Chandra came in. He apologized about the delay but after consulting with him I could see how much time he spends with patients would delay his schedule. He explained thoroughly, answered my questions being very patient and kind. Mark at the sleep testing center was excellent and explained how the testing would be done. The results from using my CPAP have been life changing for me. More energy and being less tired has been a welcome result. I have nothing but praise and a good overall experience with the doctor and his caring staff. NOTE-Info on this page says they do not take credit cards but they do and most insurance plans.
