This repair company comes out diagnoses and tells me it will be two weeks when they get the board for my dishwasher. Contacted them june 6th because I heard nothing and I got a gentleman who was rude and unprofessional when I asked why I did not hear anything from them since it was supposed to be two weeks and he replies it was on back order so we will get the part delivered to us june 11th. When I then asked again why I was not contacted he replied with we have too many customers to call for each part on back order. Then I told him it was unprofessional for the customer to not hear anything in regards to the time we waited and were patient with them to not constantly call and his excuse was that the receptionist went home sick and he cannot do anything about the delay in the board. He was then advised to call and let us know there was delay in the part which would have solved the issue. The unprofessionalism is absurd, not apologizing or taking accountability makes it so much worse to deal with them. To have to wait almost two months for a dishwasher to be fixed is ridiculous. My husband looked up online the cost of the board and time in which we have to wait for the part is two weeks, so why is this company having a back order issue? My mind is blown how this company can be in business for the 75 years the man claimed they have been in business for when arguing with me when questioned on his lack of professional attitude. If I could give 0 stars for a rating I certainly would and hope no one else has to deal with this company for repairs and get this level of rudeness and disrespect.

Over the last two years, we have purchased an LG dishwasher and a refrigerator from Jon at Home…read moreAppliance and the experience both times was fantastic. The showroom at the Avon location can be overwhelming at first, with the vast selection of brands ranging from ultra high end that you've probably never heard of, to normal everyday brands you've seen at the big box stores, but once you've been in the store a few times, it'll feel like home. Their kitchen displays are so nicely done and really give you a good feel for how an appliance could look in your home. Their prices are in the same range as what you'll find at big box retailers and they seem to be on top of their price adjustments when they have big holiday sales. We compared pricing on the dishwasher and fridge and what we paid was identical to Best Buy's sale prices and better than Home Depot and Lowe's! I always feel better supporting a local business than a big corporation. Our salesman, Jon made shopping here very enjoyable. He is very nice and knowledgeable about the appliance industry and can tell you which brands and models will suit your particular needs...smart features, sizing, budget, warranty repairs...Jon knows his stuff! There's absolutely no pressure to buy when you work with Jon, so take your time and do your research and he'll be happy to help you when you're ready to make the purchase. I wish more salesmen were like him! Be sure to follow Home Appliance on social media for special tasting events where you can try food made fresh in their kitchen! Definitely put this place on your list of you're shopping for new appliances!

He came back two weeks later, after canceling us at least once, and he decided only one part needed to be replaced. Washing machine worked for one load and was again broken. After another week or two, Whirlpool sent out a different service repair company technician who fixed the washing machine within 15 minutes. We also purchased Epic Protect 5 year extended insurance when we bought the washing machine. According to the insurance, we are entitled to $50 for laundromat services. We have called and emailed epic protect multiple times and have not received any response. We also sent an email twice to our sales rep at home appliance regarding the insurance and asking for assistance, and have received no response from him. We have been happy with home appliance in the past, but obviously things are different now.

In early February, my three-year-old Bosch 800 series threw the E15 error code -- showing a leak…read moresomewhere with water puddling in the base of the dishwasher. Called Mr. Appliance. They were very friendly and came out to fix it on Feb 12. They fixed it ($179), and it lasted a week before it threw the same error code again. They came out and looked at it again, and recommended a part with a bigger fix, so we said OK, and we ordered it. On their third trip to our place they came out Feb 24 and installed that new part ($505). That fix worked, and the tech was very friendly, but a week later it threw yet again the E15 error code. I called their office in frustration and three days later they still hadn't called me back. So I called in again and they promised to come out and make it right. After another few days' wait, they came out again on March 10, looked at it, fixed it up, and that fixe lasted, yep, about a week. They came back on March 24 and recommended another fix (only a $30 part this time), and they installed it on March 28. This time I was assured it was fixed for real, and it seemed like it was running fine just like every other time the tech was here. But yep, the dreaded E15 error code came again three days later on March 31. So we've been eating off paper plates on and off for six weeks, Mr. Appliance has come to my house six times, made four repairs, at a cost of over $700, and my dishwasher is still broken. The tech is super friendly and seems knowledgeable, but he certainly hasn't actually fixed my dishwasher. They don't seem to have anyone else to send to fix it. Their management takes a few days to call you back even when you're obviously dissatisfied, and their only solution to make it right is to send their people back to repeat the same attempt. So if you've got an easy job, maybe Mr. Appliance will be the right fit for you. But if you've got a tricky job I can't recommend Mr. Appliance, while their techs are friendly you may find yourself wasting six weeks of effort and hundreds of dollars and yet have to replace your dishwasher anyways.

However, a little over a month later, the unit stopped cooling again. During the follow-up visit, the same technician identified severe corrosion on the heat exchanger and a refrigerant leak. Thermador later confirmed that the unit is not repairable, and I was forced to purchase a replacement out of pocket at a discounted price (which is currently backordered). I want to express my concern that this corrosion and leakage likely did not develop within such a short period of time. It seems far more probable that the corrosion was already present during the initial diagnosis and simply went unnoticed. If that is the case, the compressor replacement was only a temporary fix and did not address the root cause of the problem. I understand that I was informed that the leak is being treated as a separate issue and therefore not covered under the repair warranty. However, from my perspective, I paid for a repair which ultimately failed because the underlying problem was not identified or resolved. I sent you an email and I am still waiting for your reply almost a year later...

Like a clean home, and despise hours of cleaning - RUSH to Oreck!…read more House training a pup, and can't afford to replace stinky pee-stained carpet - RUSH to Oreck! Used Nature's Miracle, Resolve and every other enzyme cleaner "guaranteed" to work (they don't) - RUSH to Oreck! Oreck professionals and products provide effective, sustainable and valuable solutions to cleaning (even for old stains) found nowhere else. How do I know? Read my story ... Desperate and disgusted by my puppy-in-training-pee-stained carpet, I was on the verge of plunking down thousands of dollars to rip up carpeting and install hard flooring. Desperate and disgusted by my puppy-in-training-pee-stained carpet, in a last attempt to save myself thousands of dollars to rip up carpeting and install hard flooring, I bought a highly-rated brand name carpet cleaner at a big box store and lugged it home. And then my vacuum cleaner, a 10 y.o. Oreck, went kaput. Sunday afternoon. Now what - buy a brand name vacuum from a big box store? I made a phone call to the Oreck Outlet. Turns out, Oreck offers a trade-in credit - $100 - even for a 10 y.o. Oreck vacuum. Desperate and disgusted by my puppy-in-training-pee-stained carpet, I jumped in my car on a Sunday afternoon with my 10 y.o. Oreck vacuum and bags, and headed to the Oreck Outlet in Strongsville, 15 minutes from home, where I had my vacuum serviced before. Turns out, that location had closed and moved to North Olmsted, another 20 minutes away. Desperate and disgusted by my puppy-in-training-pee-stained carpet, I drove the extra distance on a Sunday afternoon. I'm glad I did. Mike, relaxed and upbeat, dismissed the fact there was less than an hour before closing when we arrived. Instead, he inquired about my top cleaning concerns and demonstrated seen-with-my-own-eyes solutions. "Why don't I know about these things?!" I demanded, after witnessing, in my experience, cleaning "miracles". He shrugged. "Oreck invests in R&D. These are proprietary products found only in our stores and nowhere else," he explained. For less than half the price of new flooring, I obtained a high-performing Miele vacuum and DRY carpet cleaner, which will sustain and preserve my existing carpet's life and flooring for years. Oh! Mike forgot a couple of small things in my order, so Christy drove midway to my home to deliver them. Kudos to Oreck for hiring the likes of Mike and Christy, who reinforce the value and integrity of your products and services. I'll never have to hire a carpet cleaner again.
