I just toke my car to this car care center to have my bakes checked. There was a grinding news coming from the back. I went fearing having to replace new pads and new rotors possibly on all four tires. However, after an inspection of all four pads and rotors, I was told all pads 90% and rotors had a little dust, but everything was good. Charged a low fee of $25 for an hour of work. Not being from this area, and down just for the winter, I was so impressed with their honesty and service. These guys are morons ! I brought my infiniti to them n told them I didn't want to "chase" the problem. I wanted it diagnosed n then fixed. Sounds simple rite ? WRONG! They swore it was one thing , WRONG $480. Then they insisted it was something else n (supposedly) fixed that WRONG n ANOTHER $480 ! By now my car had sat at there shop for several weeks n ofcourse it ran ALOT worse then it did when I brought it to them . I drive a $75k infiniti with less then 90k miles on it n I was now being told that my car CANNOT BE FIXED ! A week later I was told that I should come n get my car n that they cannot fix it . Ofcourse I went to get my car n low and behold not only did my car run worse then it ever did but .. you guessed it ANOTHER repair bill for $380 this time. Obviously the last ditch effort to suck the last little bit of money out of n obviously displeased customer. That's a total of over $1400 paid to these thieves for ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ! The last bill for $380 must have been for storage because they hadn't done A THING to the car between the second bill of $480 n when I went to pick it up n was forced to pay $380 to get my car . These guys talk a good game but in reality they are about as dumb as a bag fulla hammers. All they are is thieves looking for prey amoung those stupid enough to trust their car AND WALLET to them . STAY AS FAR AWAY AS POSSIBLE FROM THIS BED OF THIEVES. For the record, my infiniti was fixed both well and reasonably by JB auto downtown st Pete . read more

I have gone there since then to have my a/c worked on (I honestly have no clue what you call the procedure they did) to fix a leak. They sprayed some foam-stuff around a hole to stop water from coming in the cab. It was coming in and flooding my passenger side floorboard. They fixed it in one visit. I later went back because someone backed into me and broke my tail light. He gave me an estimate and I checked around. Everyone else I asked wanted at least $50 more. I normally say 'The Good:', 'The Bad', and 'The Bottom Line'. Here, there is no bad. That is the bottom line. read more

Would not take our vehicles anywhere else! This place is great! As a female who knows next to nothing about cars, it's a bit intimidating to bring a vehicle in for repairs. I had a van when I first started going to Advanced and my brakes were squeaking. I told the owner Rob and he said he would check it out. He called me a little later to come pick up the van. You have X amount of miles left on these brakes. Wow! Honesty! Nice! He could have put new brakes on the van when it did not need them. We take both of our vehicles here and recommend this place to everyone! Just had my car in there last week to get the regulator replaced in my window after it broke. Great place and I see all kinds of makes and models there. Give them a call and bring your vehicle there from oil changes to new tires to new engines. They do it all! read more

We have taken our 2 vehicles here for many car issues over the past year and every time we do, it takes 3-4 times bringing it back to fix the same issue. Each time we bring it back, they want to charge us additional money for something they forget to fix the first time. We had to take my husband's truck back 7 times to fix the problem because they didn't know what they were doing, even though we already paid over $600.00 for the repairs. I just took my vehicle to another mechanic for a problem that Advanced Auto charged me $300 to fix and less than 6 months later, the problem has appeared again and paid less than $100 to fix. Others may have had good luck with them, but personally, I won't take my vehicle here again. Over-priced and under-delivered! read more

At first I only went here because the warranty on my car required me to go though them. In my first visit, they fixed my alternator in roughly 2 hours and also did a complementary engine check and undercarriage check. The owner was there and plainly explained everything that they did and what was wrong, since my first visit I have been back to fix my A/C and I have also brought my fiancee's car there and they are treating him with the same great customer service and care as they did me.
