We have been following Mike & Miguel on Facebook since the end of 2025 and were so happy they finally opened their new store to the public last Saturday 4/18/2026. We made a visit to the store and couldn't go home without buying new plants and fish from them. Their plants are super healthy and of nice color. Their congo tetras are super big and beautiful which they breed. We also got some amazing dwarf neon rainbowfish which are also bred locally. Their prices are very reasonable as well. Miguel is very friendly and gives us good advice on fish and plants. We met and talked to both Mike & Miguel and they seem to have a passion for what they do. I called Justin and he promptly returned my call. Tried to diagnose my problems almost over the phone because he was committed to other customers. He made time after work to come over and take care of everything. Believe me the tank looked terrible. At first he thought an overhaul would be necessary, but after some work, he thought we should keep an eye on it as it may come back. Vegas is a great place to live but horrible when it comes to maintenance issues. Everyone with a hammer claims he's a carpenter, the guy with the wrench is a plumber and everyone under the sun is a handyman. Most "professionals" are extremely remedial. With this said, it was refreshing. No great attempted up sell, no ensuing calamity if you don't act right now, and no nonsense at all. You get an immediate feeling that you chose the right guy.

We were looking for a docile, sweet tempered hamster that actually likes to be interacted with and pet. It's a tall order, because hamsters are all different - they have different personalities. Go to petfinder.com and search for a rescue dog that fits your needs, or check out local animal shelters. If you are looking for a specific hypoallergenic dog, check out breed-specific rescue organizations (ie. poodle rescue). Dont breed or buy while shelter pets die.

I asked if there was proof to which she stated, if the cat ended up being positive that is when it would be listed in the files, otherwise, if the cat is negative nothing is documented but I assure you the tests were done. We ended up believing her. We called the next day while at our own Vet getting an initial check up and asked to confirm once again that the tests were done, this time, they said no, the tests were not done. Incompetence at its best, or just out right deception, say whatever you need to say, i.e. lie, just get the animals adopted.
