Our project was multi-faceted, with some unusual requests. Of course we had the normal "update the cabinets" piece (Re-door, paint) , but we also had a large solid maple built-in outdated entertainment wall that we wanted modified and painted, plus a two-tiered island we wanted made into one-tier.. We also wanted to add several cabinets to extend from the kitchen into the dining space along the wall. We received the three bids and Kitchen Tune-up of Eden Prairie was the one that most impressed us. Not only was their price very reasonable, but they were incredibly helpful and flexible. There wasn't any request we had that they couldn't fulfill. Angela and Annette (one of the owners) came for the initial consultation. They offered ideas, listened to ours, and made some preliminary measurements and gave us their tile and countertop suppliers' information. A few days later, they sent us their quote and it was very reasonable and included everything we wanted! A few days later, Angela and Annette came to do the measurements. While here, they offered some advice on our initial decisions and we updated our design. While here, they asked us why we chose them. Our response? Their flexibility, ability to accommodate our varied requests, the fact that the owner found us important enough to come, the energy they brought to the job, and their personalized attention to us. We felt from the first meeting that we were more than just another customer. Our remodel began on Labor Day, 2022! Over the next few weeks, Annette, Tim and their team worked tirelessly to transform our 1999 space into a beautiful, updated NEW SPACE! We LOVE IT! They put in long days and even weekends to do it all right. When faced with an unforeseen issue, they solved it and everything came out even better than we had hoped. My wife and I cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed working with everyone from Kitchen Tune-Up - Eden Prairie! We first met up with Tom ( the company President and designer), He measured the area, sketched up some drawings and we all discussed what we thought would be fun, great looking and functional. A few days later, he emailed us blueprints and we met again with another designer, craftsmen. We changed our ideas a few times more before coming up with what we decided on. We scheduled a build and they were very good about keeping to their installation date. A well experienced carpenter showed up and within one day had it all installed. The next day the countertop crew came out to measure and laser scan for the corian countertop. A week later that was installed - perfectly.... We had the black subway tiles installed and had a family gathering to show off our "New Wine Bar". It was a huge hit, everyone loved it. What a improvement to our new home. I would totally recommend Charles Cabinets to anyone who wants perfection.
