I went to buy Power Steering fluid and went to the counter. Waited for about 2 minutes when the phone rang and a counter person walks over and answers the phone ahead of me. I should mention that there were at least 5 other workers in the store on the floor doing I don't know what. After about 5 minutes I was about to walk out when a lady emerges from the back, obviously finishing a meal and walks over to me, says nothing, and rings me up. I am not looking for conversation but customer service 101 says acknowledge the customer standing in front of you before answering the phone or answer the phone and put them on hold and deal the the customer facing you! Really, 6 reps and not 1 thought to man the counter? Goodbye Advanced Auto Parts.

After getting a quote for the work, I said Tuesday would work for me and that I would be there at 7:30am and they said great see you then. Tuesday (today) rolls around and I am there at 7:30am ready for the appointment. I was then told that I was not scheduled for an appointment but just a drop off. Still needing the work done, I gave them my keys and waited. A little after 10am my truck was taken into the shop. Around 1pm they said the work was completed but that I needed rear brake work????? I brought my truck in because I knew it needed brakes all the way around. At this time, my truck was still on the lift but they refused to do the work because it was not scheduled for rear brakes. WTF!!!! Because I did not hold their hand through the entire process, I had to drive back home with really bad rear brakes. If you choose to use their service, spell out everything you need done for them and double check that they understood what you want. For me it was a waisted day that I took off from work and I will never do business there again.

Every attendant handed me off to the next person as appropriate and then toured me through the small waiting area for complimentary coffee, bathroom, and TV to change at will. Each service member mentioned it too! Then, the guy (Josh) doing my car went through everything with me and showed me prices with choices and made recommendations based on my situation without the high pressure. I felt like everyone here had literally just read the communications rule book on how to treat people. I only went in for an evening oil change, but they topped off all my fluids and vacuumed the car for free! A service that Jiffylube provides to its customers. I took it to Auto Impressions and they replace the oil pressure sensor. about 2-4 weeks later the check engine code for the oil pressure sensor came back. I went and talked to Auto Impressions and we discussed several things that could be causing the code and possible solutions. As they were troubleshooting the issue, they discovered that the problem was the oil filters I was using. I was using a big name brand oil filter, the same brand that I used all my life on all my cars. It was restricting my oil flow. Auto Impressions replaced my oil filter with a Wix brand filter and my oil pressure went up 10-15 psi, back where it should be. Auto Impressions was diligent and honest, They could have tried several of the other measure we discussed to address my oil pressure issue. Instead, they paid attention to the details and found the root cause which turned out to be inexpensive. I won't take my vehicles anywhere else. Thank you Auto Impressions!!
