I entered the store without a clear idea of what I needed, but after a short Q&A , I received what I needed; a low-beam lamp for my car.

Tony was very friendly in our meeting and said they would get the work done for $5,000-7,000. I agreed and left the car to have the work done. After almost 7 months and at a cost of about $11,000 I got the car back. Less than 2 miles from Tony's shop the car was overheating so I took it back. A couple days later they said they had set the timing to the wrong mark and the problem had been corrected. After that it was one problem after another over the next couple months which required returning the car to Tony's. The car was not being driven as I was starting to work on other parts of the car. After e few more months the car sat idle for 4-5 years as other responsibilities kept me from working on it. In the meantime, I had moved about 200 miles away to central Wisconsin and in 2020 started working on the restoration again. The first thing I found was the car was still overheating. After several attempts to talk to Tony(he would never take my calls after I identified myself or return them) I had a local mechanic diagnose the problem as combustion gasses leaking into the cooling system. Since Tony refused to talk to me and I wasn't going to tow the car back down 200 miles, we decided to remove the heads to determine what was leaking. We found several head bolts were loose and none had been torqued down. The shifting of the heads caused the leakage and thus the overheating. I've now spent in excess of $2,500 to correct the problems and I'm still finding more that wasn't done or done improperly. And Tony still won't return my calls or reimburse me. I'm very disappointed to say the least.
