After trying to screw us by replacing a part at 10x the cost that didn't need to be replaced,…read morecompletely disregarding the service bulletin for the issues (because he wasn't replacing a part that was replaced two years ago and the told us he didn't care about the TSB), charging a diagnostic fee we weren't told about, and then changing the story on what part he was going to replace no less than 6 times, I was finally able to get them to give me a refund for the diagnosis fee after it went to another dealership that's replacing the part as it should be. After being told I'd receive a refund, I drove down there and was threatened by the service manager Tom Poole who told me he would "kick my *ss," "hates us Yankee f*cks," threw things at me in front of the sales manager, and said "he was going to make sure the vehicle didn't get fixed at the other dealership it was at." Hopefully this dealership or the owners do the right thing, but let this serve as a warning to anyone who decided they want to go here that you're better off going elsewhere.

In February 2025, I brought my 2020 Lincoln Corsair to this dealership because the driver's seat would not recline. I paid over $900 for parts and labor to have the issue repaired. In January 2026, the exact same problem occurred--the driver's seat again would not recline. I returned to the dealership and was told this time it involved a different seat motor and would cost nearly $1,000 to repair. I declined the repair. Despite declining the work, I was charged $220 in diagnostic fees simply to be told that I would need to spend additional money on a problem that had already been repaired at significant cost. From a consumer standpoint, this was frustrating, as the prior repair did not resolve the issue. I attempted to resolve this matter directly with dealership management through email, certified mail and phone. I did not receive a response until after posting a public review. When I was contacted via email, it was stated that multiple attempts had been made to reach me; however, no prior phone calls or emails were received, despite my contact information being on file. So, I called them back, left a message and still have not heard from anyone. Shame on you Greenwich Ford!

I though this problem would be something simple like recoiling the seatbelt or adjusting the spring unit and for convenience had them take a look as I was bringing my car in for an oil change anyway. Lesson learned - I should have YouTubed it first. They charged me a $225 "diagnostic fee" which they did not disclose to me prior to service, only to inform me I needed to replace the entire seatbelt unit which would cost $1200 (on top of the $225 I already had to pay for nothing). They returned by vehicle to me in worse shape than I gave it - with the entire seat belt uncoiled on my seat, grease and blood on my seat and around the seat belt. I decided to look on YouTube to find out how to replace the part myself, which would cost me $500 for the part. Immediately, I came across many videos that recommended trying to clean the seatbelt and D-ring holder - which, by the way, worked perfectly and the seatbelt now works normal. I could actually see the grime coming off the plastic D-ring holder. If YouTube could tell me what was wrong by a few key words, I feel like they could have suggested a solution without even looking at my car. If they employ master mechanics, as they explained to me , shouldn't they know something this simple? I asked to speak to the manager, he didn't come talk to me. I used to like this place, but it seems like the new owner/manager isn't doing very well based on other reviews like mine. This isn't even the first time I have had an issue. This was their second chance for me.
