Mike wanted my full DOB, for a quote and would not accept my birth year for a "55+ discount" - just for a quote. I explained to him that the Top Two National quotes would be given all personal information (citing identity theft concerns) and his response was "Count me in for being in the bottom three". Bizarre behavior to lose the opportunity to get $350 a month from me.

I…read morefinally got tired of dealing with the increasing complexity of tax forms in general, but especially when there are business activities involved. Liberty got my tax returns done in speedy fashion (even with a schedule C) and the rates are reasonable. It was worth getting my tax returns done with so little effort on my part, getting deductions I wasn't expecting, and I don't think I've ever gotten a tax refund so fast. Thanks Liberty, I'll be back next year.

I figured after my horrible experience at the location in Junction City, KS this year in which I…read moreended up leaving without having my taxes done I would give the Manhattan location a chance. It was the best choice I've made. I set up an appointment less than 24 hours in advance for the lunch hour. The "receptionist" must have been a Tax Advisor herself because she was MORE than helpful in taking my information and matching me to someone with experience based on the answers I gave to her questions. (Again a completely different experience from the Junction City location in which their receptionists have NO clue what is going on within the confines of those walls,) I arrived on time to friendly and helpful faces. The location was quiet, clean, and convenient. I informed the receptionist that I was there for an appointment and I didn't even have to sit down to wait. Nor did I have to fill out the forms that the Junction City location makes you fill out before being seen. Apparently my information being in their computer for the last 10 years was enough for them. What a novel idea. Bring in Senior Tax Advisor 5 "Carolyn." One of the most pleasant ladies I have had the pleasure of meeting. A genuine, caring, sweet, intelligent, refreshing treat. I knew from the moment I sat down with her that I was in VERY capable hands and that I was NOT going to have another Junction City experience. What a relief. "Carolyn" walked me through everything step by step and even corrected the minor errors that had been repeatedly ignored over the years by the Junction City location. "Carolyn" was never in doubt with what she was doing and made me confident that regardless of the outcome, she was right. This may just be my favorite "5 star" rating that I have given. You just don't find customer service like this anymore. What a refreshing experience! I would HIGHLY recommend this location and "Carolyn" to have your taxes done.
