They said I returned the scooter before the month was up, and that was their reason! That is a pure BS reason!!! They charged my charge card for the entire month rental of the equipment, and BCBS would have paid it in full to them, but they didn't want to be bothered. What the heck does it matter if I returned the equipment a week early? They were charging the same either way. BCBS spoke with the same girl that I had to deal with when I went to their office to rent the scooter, and she acted like I was totally bothering her to ask questions about anything! Pure laziness! I guess they thought since they charged my charge card already then why should they bother making the effort to resubmit the claim!!!!!!!!! Total BS! ABSOLUTELY DO NOT USE THIS FACILITY!

They were local and their website featured my exact bed and mattress so I called immediately. The man who answered was friendly and enthusiastic, said they accepted Medicare, and it'd take 2-3 days for a bed to arrive after receiving the paperwork. Following that, kept getting the runaround from various others who answered the phone (never that initial man), first saying my physician never sent the forms even though I called and they assured me the forms were sent twice, then a few more calls with no updates available. Finally, I received a call informing me that my insurance does not cover this bed and also told me their company does not carry that bed. Okay, so which is it - my insurance doesn't cover it or they don't have it? It's right there on their website. Why would they call my insurance, anyway, if Eagle doesn't carry it? Hm. I called my insurance. A claim was never initiated and I double-checked and, yes, the bed IS covered. Eagle Medical lied to me. This company is all over the place. Why would they lie? I don't know. Maybe they prefer to sell to those who pay out-of-pocket instead. I can't imagine any other reason.

I bought a Golden lift chair from Progressive Mobility in Washington Pennsylvania. The chair was…read moreover 2000. dollars and was a custom order. I have a part that snapped from off of the motor that raises the foot rest of the chair. I'm trying to replace that part. I do not understand why the fork part snapped like this, because there was no reason for it to do so. I am not rough at all on the chair, and I am not overweight putting strain on the chair. The part had to be defective. The part is a plastic screw in fork that goes into the shaft that lifts the leg part of recliner. I ordered one off of Amazon, but the fork was a little too large and will not work. I don't need a technician to come to my home to fix it because all I need is the replacement part. I can put the part on myself. Its not hard to repair, but is hard to get parts for my chair. I do not know where to buy them. I just need the fork that screws into the shaft so the leg lift will rise. After the fork screws in, I can re insert the pin to allow the chair to lift the leg part of the recliner. I do not know where I can order that part and without that fork my chair is useless and will not work. My chair is still under warranty, but the warranty is useless because I cannot get the parts I need without a technician coming to my home. Again, I do know what's wrong with the chair and I just need that part. Progressive mobility only wants to send a technician out to charge me money for services I do not need. I simply need a part. They will not sell me the part. They said that they do not sell parts, even though I paid alot of money at their store for this chair that is supposed to be under warranty. The catch is even under warranty if a tech comes out to your home, you pay for those services. You pay for the labor and the service call. So even under warranty the store you buy the chair from, still makes money off of service calls by not selling you the parts so you can fix it yourself. Like I said, this expensive chair is useless unless you can get the part to fix it. I would hope that Golden would want to make this right somehow. It's terrible because I really need my legs lifted and the longer I can't use my chair the more pain I have in my legs. This chair is medically necessary for me. I am so miserable without the use of my chair. I just want everyone to know to be aware that it's hard to get parts for these chairs. You can know how to place the new part on the chair, but if you can't get the parts you can't repair the chair. Buyer beware. I'm so upset about my chair, and I love the chair when it works.

I had to call again that afternoon only to have some lady start to give me a canned "it takes a week" answer without bothering to check. I find out after getting her to indeed check, they checked the wrong insurance and didn't bother to inform me or apparently follow the guidance I gave them. Total incompetence and quite honestly too lazy to call me. Bottom line....go elsewhere. They wasted a week, had all the information and contact info and just couldn't be bothered to follow up. So 10 months later they respond...need I say more?

The repair was done in the time promised, for a very reasonable sum, resulting in no additional down time for my lift. I has been two weeks and I am quite pleased with the way my lift is working since its repair. I really appreciate the care that Tim took in assisting me. As my main mobility scooter weighs 250lb, so I really depend on my lift being operational. And I appreciate Tim's determination to get me back on the road as soon as possible The repair was done in the time promised, for a very reasonable sum, and I was back up and running that same day. It has been two months since the repair and everything continues to work just fine.
