I went to Adry's on August 7, 2021 for a root touch up. I was there from 8:30am-3:30pm. To start, let me prepare you and tell you that she has assistants that she allows to dye your hair and I don't think they are licensed because throughout doing my hair, they were asking for reassurance from Adry. I am new to the area so I figured maybe they have a good routine going and I trusted the process. I was completely wrong. Rinsing hair and blow drying hair is one thing from assistants but DYEING hair... Big red flag. And to add to that, they're very rough with your hair. From doing the foils, rinsing hair, brushing and blow drying. My hair was falling out, I got burnt by the blow dryer a few times and my shirt was bleached when I left. I had to toss it. And again, I was there for 6-7 hours!!! When my hair was blow dried, I had to verbally tell them that my roots were orange. It was like they weren't going to say or do anything unless I said something. I asked them to go over my roots because it shouldn't have been touched to begin with. After they went through my roots with a darker color, I noticed the blending wasn't done very well, but she knew I had to be done at a certain time because I had plans that evening. I paid $314, even though verbally over the phone she said it would be $289. Later when I got home, the blending really got to me. Everyone noticed it and pointed it out. It's very visible. I found the courage to message her asking why I was charged so much and if she can fix it. She explained everything she charged me for and said she even said gave me a "discount" for the Olaplex (that I never asked for or agreed to and should of never been charged for) and shockingly charged me $60 to blow dry my hair. When she agreed to fix my hair a week later, I sat in that chair for 4 hours just to leave with my hair looking worse. And again, letting her assistants work on my hair. She even said some areas are covered and doesn't have to be fixed. Personally, I find that to be very unprofessional as I am a paying customer and this just shows a lack of effort on her end to meet my satisfaction as she already got my money. I gave her salon the benefit of the doubt twice and both times, it didn't let me down. She was unable to fix my hair. To do less than 10 foils on my head should not have taken almost as long as the first initial visit. And my hair was rinsed like 3 times that visit. My head again, in pain from all the hair pulling and burned again from the blow dryer. I called about possibly getting a refund or at least a partial refund but she didn't pick up my call until the next day AFTER a friend tried to call from a different number. She told me that she acknowledges her making this mistake on my hair and not being able to fix it but also will not give me a refund as it is a part of their policy. A policy that was never shown to me, talked about nor did I sign. She didn't ask if there was anything she can do to make it better and it honestly just shows the lack of Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction she has. $300+ is not cheap and a stylist should honestly charge by their work ethics and skills because not everyone has it. Anyone can have a license to stick on the wall. A $26 consultation would not have made a difference considering they take walk ins!!! I unfortunately no longer trust her salon's work ethics and do not recommend going to her salon. read more
