Called a taxi to pick up my girlfriend who was stranded. She was only about 5 minutes from her house, but I didn't want her to have to walk in the cold. I asked if I could pay over the phone, they said the driver would call me for payment when they dropped her off. They said they would pick her up in 15 minutes. 30 minutes later there was still no sign of the taxi. I called back asking for an update, explaining that I was told 15 minutes and it's been double that, I was told, very rudely that "I know what I told you, but I'm not a psychic." I said OK, and asked for an adjusted estimate, I was told "he'll be there when he can". Taxi showed up almost an hour after the initial call, I suppose I should be thankful they showed up at all. She could have walked home faster. This "taxi" caused my girlfriend to have to stand in the cold for nearly an hour and were jerks about it on top of it, AND made her pay for it instead of calling me for payment as I asked and as they said they would. Absolutely horrible experience all around. I only wish i could give zero stars. read more
