I will never attempt to do my own taxes again. They go above and beyond for their clients. There is a friendly, smiling face at the front desk and a knowledgeable staff to help you with all your accounting needs and concerns. I have had such a great experience year to year, that I have given their information out and gotten all my friends and family to come see them. They are truly a cut above the rest. I admittedly missed an email (one email, from someone I had never worked with before, to an account I rarely use anymore) about my policy expiring if I didn't take action. I followed up about a week later to learn that I no longer had homeowners insurance, and there was nothing they could do about it because it was a Friday afternoon. I wish I would have received a phone call, a letter, a follow up email...SOMETHING from GLIIA confirming I knew that I was now without coverage. As of right now I have still not heard from my agent or anyone at the GLIIA office, which I suppose means I'm shopping for new insurance. Avoid at all costs. A single missed email could cost you your home and everything in it.

No pictures or real explanation as to what's wrong with my roof. The previous agent used to send someone out to see that the roof is fine. Now you get no help at all. You have to do all the leg work and pay roofers to come out and look at your roof and pray the State Farm gods will let you keep your policy with them while they keep cashing your checks. I rarely file a claim and I think that's pretty good after 3 decades, all State Farm wants is your money. It used to be a company that cared and took care of their clients. Where agents would help and step in when a client was having this kind of issue. Below is a picture of the roof State Farm thinks I need to shell out $20k to repair. Also, they are architectural shingles so they are not supposed to be flat.

They keep sending spam mail to my address with someone else's name on it despite returning to…read moresender multiple times, this is poor business practice and reflects negatively on State Farm as a whole. If you ever move rest assured they will spam the hell out of the next resident. A reasonable expectation would be to stop sending me mailers or to remove the name from the mailer but despite this the exact letters I returned to sender had a message written on it saying "YOU ARE CURRENT RESIDENT" And were placed in my mailbox again. Not only was I disgusted by this unprofessional response but I will not be considering State Farm as an insurance provider if this is typical business practice for agents. If they market this agressively then they're likely to try to push you into an overpriced package that you probably don't need.

When I asked Paul to step in and fix the situation, he yelled at me. He called me names, he insinuated that I was lying, he would not even allow me to talk. His response to me was typical of someone with abusive anger management problems. To top it off, he immaturely hung up on me. The unprofessional manner of his complete staff is not worth your time. I have ended up filing a corporate complaint because I have never been yelled at so abusively. Anyone who treats a customer of 27 years like this does not deserve mine or your business. I am in the process of moving my service now.
