My car broke down during the evening rush. I required automobile towing as soon as feasible. The…read moredispatcher was very quick to respond and kept me informed of the driver's ETA. The tow truck was here much quicker than I imagined and the driver was professional, careful and friendly all the way. He ensured that my automobile was loaded appropriately and delivered hassle free to my repair facility. It was reasonably priced with no extra hidden charges. If I ever need roadside help again I would call this towing company by all means and not think twice about it.

These automobiles require special care and skill, and finding someone you can trust to move an older collectible vehicle is not easy. Another vehicle enthusiast recommended this company so I gave them a call. I was immediately impressed with the dispatchers expertise of specialty towing. They answered extensive questions regarding the condition, clearance and any modifications to the car to make sure they provided the right equipment. The driver arrived in a flatbed truck and carefully loaded the automobile, making sure it wouldn't be scraped up or damaged. He knew how to properly manage old vehicles and it immediately put my worries at ease. He kept in touch during the travel and kept me posted as to the time of arrival at the restoration business. I thought the pricing was fair considering the special attention. Most significantly, the car arrived in fantastic condition and without any issues. Clearly this organization takes delight in doing the proper thing for specialty vehicles, not just any old tow. I would 100% trust them again in the future for Special Vehicle Towing, vintage automobile transport, or any high value vehicle transporting needs.

Avoid this business at all costs! Wish I can give zero stars…read more I initially called them to have my brakes serviced and was required to pay $320 upfront. The mechanic, Marco, arrived over an hour late. When he arrived, he was on multiple personal phone calls before starting on my car, even when he was working on my car, he was still taking calls. After a brief inspection, he claimed the actuator and caliper likely needed replacement because the piston was stuck. He contacted a supplier and quoted me over $3,300 for the actuator alone. Later, I discovered the genuine OEM Lexus part only costs around $1,100 directly from Lexus Parts. Marco then told me he know someone who might be able to repair the parts for much less, so I agreed to let him take the parts. He removed the actuator and caliper and left the hose leaking brake fluid - I had to figure out how to stop the leak myself. He promised to update me that evening, but never called. The next morning, I had difficulty reaching him, and after several attempts, he said he needed more time and would call back. This cycle repeated multiple times, with me constantly having to chase him for updates. Eventually, he told me the parts were broken beyond repair. I requested my original parts back, but again he became very difficult to contact. At that point, I genuinely felt like I had been scammed out of expensive components. When he finally returned something, it was an old, rusted part that clearly was not mine and wasn't even the same component. That raised a major red flag. I actually consulted other mechanics even Lexus certified mechanics and they said the parts are probably fixable. I insisted that my actual parts be returned. After several more calls, he claimed his staff had accidentally thrown them away. Despite their mistake, the company refused to offer any compensation towards parts replacement cost, which are nearly $1,600 from Lexus. Meanwhile, my vehicle has been sitting immobile on jack stands in my garage and not drivable. This experience has been extremely stressful and unprofessional from this business. My misfortune should serve as a warning to anyone considering On the Spot Mobile Mechanics services.

I am writing this review to explain the awful experience I had with Diesel tech Truck Repair on…read moreFebruary 23, 2019. I am the owner of a moving company and I had a big move to do that morning in Richmond. At 9am, I arrived at the home where we were supposed to do the move and I went to lower the tailgate and it went all the way to the ground. And then the hydraulic fluid quickly leaked out and I was no longer able to raise the tailgate. It was broken. So, I needed to find a repair company quickly and I found this company on Google. I made an emergency call to them at 9:30am. I explained the problem fully. They had asked for a $500 deposit which I provided right away. They said they would be there within 2 hours. They arrived at 11:45am. It was one mechanic with a big truck. He checked the tailgate and the battery and the maxifuse and found that the power in from the fuse was ok but there was no power out of the fuse. It was defective. Because I had explained the issue fully on the phone, I thought they would come with the correct parts and be able to fix the problem on the spot. But, the mechanic did not come with the right parts to fix the job. He provided the diagnosis and said I had to drive the truck all the way to their shop in Burnaby to be repaired and then he left. He didn't even fix the maxifuse, which was a small and easy part to be repaired. But their warehouse was 45 minutes away from me and I wasn't able to drive that far because the tailgate was still down on the ground and broken. So, I had to call a friend to come and help me to raise the tailgate so that I could drive the truck a short distance and get it to another shop that was closer. Luckily, we were able to lift it up and tie it with many straps as a temporary measure. So, in the end, I went to this other shop, which was closer, and got the repair done there. As I wasn't able to go to the warehouse, due to the distance, I called the company to notify them about that. They said they would determine the amount owing and would send an invoice to me this past Monday. I gave them my email address for them to do so. And, today, is Wednesday, Feb 27 and I still hadn't received an invoice. I called their office and a different woman answered the phone and said they didn't have my email address on file. So I gave it to them again and finally they sent me the invoice. I was shocked, they charged me $489.09 for a job they didn't even fix. This is not fair. They charged this amount just to come out and look at the truck. They delayed me 2 hours and didn't even fix the problem. And I lost my moving job that morning. They wasted 3 hours of my time and couldn't even help me. And now I am left with a bill of almost $500. So, I believe this company handled my problem very badly. And I feel they are extremely unprofessional and incompetent and I would never recommend using this company to anyone.
