I debated for a long time before writing this review. I was a patient of Dr. Cox in 2023 after experiencing recurrent miscarriages. During my treatment, I underwent multiple ovulation induction cycles and IUIs that were ultimately unsuccessful. My concerns are not simply based on the fact that I did not achieve a successful pregnancy. Fertility treatment comes with no guarantees, and I understand that. What led me to write this review was seeking multiple additional opinions afterward and realizing that a much more thorough diagnostic evaluation could have been performed earlier. Throughout my care, I was consistently treated under the assumption that my fertility challenges were related to PCOS. However, despite my history of recurrent pregnancy loss, I did not receive a comprehensive workup. After consulting with other specialists, I was eventually diagnosed with a uterine anomaly that had not been identified during my treatment. Looking back, I feel important diagnostic opportunities were missed, which delayed both answers and appropriate treatment. One aspect of my treatment that I found concerning in hindsight is that my primary challenge before seeking fertility care was not becoming pregnant--it was maintaining a pregnancy. Prior to treatment, I had experienced recurrent miscarriages, which demonstrated that conception itself was possible. However, during my time under Dr. Cox's care, I never became pregnant despite multiple treatment cycles. While I understand there are no guarantees in fertility medicine, this raised additional questions for me about whether the treatment approach was appropriately tailored to my specific history and whether more attention should have been given to identifying the underlying cause of my pregnancy losses. I would also encourage anyone considering fertility treatment to carefully evaluate the structure of the practice they choose. One thing I did not fully appreciate at the time was the potential limitations of working with a single-physician clinic. Fertility treatment is highly time-sensitive, and there are often narrow windows for testing, procedures, and follow-up care. In my experience, having access to multiple physicians can provide greater availability, additional clinical perspectives, and more flexibility when timing is critical. Another aspect of my experience that continues to bother me is the financial and emotional toll of treatment. As a self-pay patient, I spent thousands of dollars on appointments, monitoring, medications, and procedures from January through August 2023. Fertility treatment is emotionally exhausting on its own, but it became increasingly difficult to continue investing significant time, money, and hope into treatment without receiving a more comprehensive evaluation of the underlying cause of my recurrent miscarriages. Looking back, I sometimes felt that treatment continued for months without enough consideration of whether additional diagnostic testing should have been pursued sooner. The financial burden was substantial, and the uncertainty surrounding my care had a significant impact on my mental health. I am sharing my experience because I believe patients deserve a thorough investigation of potential underlying causes, especially when dealing with recurrent pregnancy loss. While others may have had positive experiences, I wish I had sought additional opinions sooner and had a more comprehensive diagnostic workup before spending so much time, money, and emotional energy at Adore Fertility. read more

After my experiences with both Adore and Coastal Fertility, the difference couldn't be more clear. Adore fell short in several critical ways, particularly around communication and administrative follow-through. Ultimately, I wasn't even able to proceed with my egg freezing cycle due to multiple administrative and communication errors on their end. Despite this, Adore had previously told me that my insurance would cover none of the procedure--and they still declined to refund my $1,000 deposit, even though the retrieval never took place because of their mistakes. In contrast, Coastal Fertility provided a far more seamless and transparent experience. Not only was their team significantly more organized and communicative, but they were also able to work with my insurance to reduce the cost of my retrieval from $7,000 to just $1,200, something Adore had told me wasn't possible. I came to Adore via a recommendation, and had a very open heart and open mind and tried to be very accommodating of their mishaps, but for them to ultimately still refuse to even refund my deposit to me was the last straw and made me feel compelled to tell people to venture into this very personal and very emotional experience elsewhere. read more

This is the worst place. They don't offer insurance, and the customer service is terrible. I would not trust them.

I can't say enough amazing things about Dr. Cox and her wonderful team! Throughout our journey, they were so responsive to all of my many questions and were so kind and patient. It touched my heart how genuinely excited they were for us when we "graduated" to our OBGYN (I'm now 16 weeks pregnant :)). We also loved that Dr. Cox is a veteran, as is my husband. read more

Billing department is a disaster. Dr. Cox will just tell you what you what you want to hear to get your money. No communication at all. I had 5 failed IUIs and I had to bring up that that was too many and needed IVF. She did not ever mention it, becasue she was just telling me what I wanted to hear, trying to 'save me money". I went to a different fertility specialist, and now have my baby boy! This was in 2022 and I am still getting random bills, yet I paid in FULL each visit. Their billing department keeps sending random "bills" years later. You will never escape if you go here. Do NOT recommend this place! read more

I cannot say enough great things about Adore Fertility!!! If I could give them a billion stars, I would. As with most people struggling with infertility, I started my journey an emotional wreck, depressed, and scared to say the least. After dealing with a difficult miscarriage in 2020 losing twins after contracting covid, we had struggled for well over 2 years to get pregnant again. I tried everything - acupuncture, Chinese herbs, a million fertility diets, tons of different medications, you name it - and nothing worked. Every single month was crushing to say the least. I finally booked my initial appointment with Adore Fertility based on the recommendation of my OBGYN, and was immediately comforted by Dr. Cox and the rest of the amazing staff. Everyone was incredibly supportive, kind, reassuring, and just down right personable. I really felt like Dr. Cox listened to me and answered all of my MANY questions, while offering honest, informative medical opinions. Since my insurance did not cover anything related to infertility (as most do not), I also really appreciated the up-front costs that were very clear and explained in detail. I never encountered any hidden fees or add-on costs apart from the treatment that was explained well in advance, and completely necessary to rule out any underlying issues. After doing several tests and ruling out such issues, we ultimately opted to first try IUI as opposed to going straight to IVF, which I've heard other practices practically push on you from the get go. Again, I really appreciated that every part of the decision was thoroughly explained, including the transparent pricing structure, and totally up to us to decide as far as when we wanted to begin. We were incredibly blessed to successfully get pregnant after just one round of IUI. After 2.5 years at this point, I almost couldn't believe it when I finally got my BFP. We had waited SO long for this, and a small part of me worried it may never happen. But here I am, 11 weeks pregnant with my little rainbow boy - finally able to go on social media again without being triggered by posts of babies and birth announcements, finally able to find joy in others' pregnancies without having a complete breakdown, and so on. I should also point out that I continued to do fertility acupuncture in addition, which I do think helped my odds. Ultimately though, I feel I owe it all to them, and I am forever grateful to Adore, Dr. Cox, and the entire staff for making our dreams come true. Truly, from the bottom of our hearts, we cannot thank you enough. I hope that others do not encounter fertility issues we did, but in the event they do, I will forever recommend Adore Fertility. read more

I was going to write a review but obviously they have it turned off for a reason . If I could rate this business with one star I would . I have been using them almost a year now for testing and the preparation for IVF . We pay everything out of pocket so it's not cheap for the average person to afford . Months prior I had contacted CNY about their self pay services and even told Dr. Cox about our situation with trying to get approved for insurance. I finally got approved for insurance and contacted Dr. cox about my surgery immediately to have it scheduled over a month out , Dr . Cox emailed me this afternoon canceling my surgery(48 hours prior to the surgery) because I had inquired to CNY months prior, because of a email asking for bloodwork from them to give me an estimate with my current insurance which CNY doesn't take anyways . I have been a loyal client to them and they are going off assumptions that I would use a different clinic after the surgery which are false . I would stay clear of this clinic and go somewhere else, the amount of miscommunication is shocking . They canceled an and held a surgery over my head to make sure I used them in the future which I never planned on using anyone else. read more
