We checked out Kritter Kare's Howliday Inn and a few other places near us on a Tuesday and the dogs had to be boarded starting Wednesday. We choose to use the Howliday Inn and I'm glad we did. The facility is clean, modern and welcoming. The 3 staff members we interacted with with were friendly, knowledgeable and professional. There is a large inside common area for the doggy day care and at least 3 outside play yards. I was shown two boarding areas and we were able to keep our 3 dogs together in one area which really seemed to help with any anxiousness they had about the new and unexpected situation. They were super accommodating to our needs of a very early drop off and a very late pick up due to the last-minute out of town travel. They communicated with me after the drop-off, providing updates and even pics on how the dogs were doing. The rates were fair/comparable and communicated up-front . The short story is the dogs were well taken care of and seemed to have a good time. I certainly recommend this business and will use it again if we need to board any or all of our dogs again. BTW - they also offer day sitting/playtime and additional services that can be performed while your dog is boarded such as grooming and nail care. Thanks to Jen and her staff for helping out in a hectic time and we're so happy that everything worked out great for the dogs.

Our lab is getting old and they worked with us to allow me to wash her first then come in for a shave. I stayed and helped hold her up because she can't stand for very long as her back legs will give out. I appreciate their love for animals and personal care they provide my pups!

She asked me to attend a "brushing class" which i did for free w her. I always felt confrontational w her like she didn't approve of me keeping my dog's hair long. Well it became apparent when she Hung up on me! I feel this was extremely unprofessional. I specifically asked her not to shave my dog and she did a 1 inch cut which to us is essentially shaved. What's so bad is i feel she intentionally did this because she did not want to keep brushing my dogs long hair she said it was torturing her(the dog) and we weren't managing the hair well. I brush my dog's long hair w a wire brush and metal comb and then cut whatever knots out she has with scissors which i told her to do but her response was that will look choppy! So after expressing my displeasure of her decision to cut very short my long haired pup she hung up on me! Instead of cutting her hair so short, she should have said i am not comfortable with brushing and grooming her anymore and you should find a new cut. Instead she decided on her own to do this! And when my hubby picked our pup up that day, Jessica immediately said "she isn't shaved " which was apparently on my husband's shocked face, yes she was! Im not asking for my Money back but i do feel the owner of this "woman ran business" all woman only work there, should apologize for the unprofessional manner in which her employee conducted herself. I typically try to stick with what I'm used to, but I'm so glad I ventured off and gave this place a try. Staff was friendly, and if it's your first time coming in, they give you a run-down on how everything works. They provide everything that you need (shampoo, conditioner, soap scrub brush, drying towel, slicker brushes, deshedding comb, finishing spray, aprons and high velocity dryers). I was able to bathe my fur baby Milo, and got him looking like he is fresh from the groomers. Staff will come and disinfect the tubs and drying stations and put clean items out for the next customer.For $21, this is definitely a deal. I am definitely coming back to use the self-service wash!
