The luggage, photos added was from a brand called InUSA that claimed to come with a 10 year warranty so we thought if you claim that type of warranty - the product must be ok, We carried the luggage to the car, packed the gifts and it was not filled or heavy, then we take luggage out at the car rental return and the first attempt my spouse makes to roll the 4 wheeler 24" pro luggage - one of the wheels snapped and they fall forward. I LOVE shopping at Adora! I am a regular shopper at the Adora inside Everett Mall. My first time up to the Adora in Burlington was this week. I figured since I had to pick up my husband at the airport I would swing by on the way. Now I know I don't need a reason to venture that way - Adora was enough. I was so impressed! It was full of really nice clothing and the prices were great. This time I was mostly shopping for myself (for once) and I found more than I was even looking for. The selection of womens items was so big. There was only a little bit of kids stuff at their store in Burlington but I did find a couple things even though there wasn't much kids stuff to choose from. All I can say is WOW! The lady working was pleasant and helpful. There were some girls dress shopping for prom while I was in there and she was helping them pick out dresses and they were squealing at everything she showed them, it was so cute. I even got to vote on which prom dress I liked on her the best. I had a memorable experience. read more

I have been to the Adora location in Burlington many times. It is always very clean and well organized.My first time being in a consignment store that actually seemed like you were shopping in a retail store...they have a wall of shirts that goes all the way down the whole store on one side. It was all seperated by size, and even color! I always find way too much stuff that I want to buy when I go there so now I have started bringing my clothes with me. I always get a good offer for what they want to buy and then I use that credit for the stuff I want to get. Sometimes I even have credit left over fo next time. I have pretty much made this my one stop shop. I can't stress enough how organized this place is. I work down the street and I spilled on my shirt, I went there on my short break and went right to the medium white long sleeve shirts and found a new work shirt in a minute flat! Haha. Everytime I goto this store I always say it'll be the last time and for some reason find myself back there only to be reminded why I hadn't been there in so long in the first place . The owner is an absolute b word . She either will follow you around the store or have an employee follow you either way she won't take her eyes off of you making you feel completely uncomfortable . When you sell stuff to her she low balls you for the most insignificant reasons but will sell it for top dollar .complete rip off. She chomps her food at the front very loud and obnoxiously while staring you down judging you making sure your not gonna steal from her THRIFT STORE. Treats every customer like a criminal. She should be in the back watching cameras that is if she even has them to me seems like she's too cheap to put real ones in and would rather run her business the way she does. I have been going to Adora ever since I moved here. It is my favorite consignment store in Washington. I always find something I want to buy and their prices are really good. It is the cleanest shop I've ever been in as well. That other review sounds like some person who was mad they didn't take her stuff; if your friend owns a consignment shop why not take your stuff to her? LOL. Last time I was there I took in my stuff and got a great offer. I found lots of stuff that I traded for and I even had money left on my account. I have been to many consignment stores and this is the best by far! It's really clean and organized. It carries everything and always has the best pick and prices I have ever seen. I have been taking my clothes there for about 2 years. I get paid the most at this place so I don't even bother taking my clothes anywhere else. I got most of my girls school clothes there too. And now that I live only a few miles away, it's a regular stop when I'm in a thrifting mood. As with most things these days, the prices here have gone up a bit the past few years. But they are still very reasonable, and they have daily 50% off and 99-cent tag sales, plus other specials throughout the week. They also have a loyalty program where you can earn points and discounts based on how much you purchase. This still ranks as one of the cleanest and most well organized thrift shops I've ever been to, even moreso since their recent massive re-arranging project which I really appreciate. My favorite section is their sewing and craft area. If you're a fabric hoarder like I am, there's always something fun to be found there. Their clothing can be hit and miss, but if you visit regularly you're sure to find something new and fun to wear. And don't miss their vintage/antique section which has some really fun finds.

She looked very visibly angry when saying this. I apologized and told her that I genuinely thought this was one of the racks on display in the store and backed off it. I hadn't been here before so I didn't know the layout of the store. She didn't say anything to me after that and hurried off away? I tried to go through the rest of the store but, after that the vibe was just off and I had to leave. Not sure if I will come back. At least not for awhile. Overall the store is very organized and clean. The clothing selection isn't the most stylish but, they can't help want gets donated to them. Would have liked it more if my visit had been better.

They have pretty much everything - from kitchen items and clothes, to books, tools, art, and even some small furniture items. They also have a small vintage section full of glass and other decor items. Prices, in general, were a little on the high side - though I supposed that describes most stores these days. I started in the kitchen area, where I picked up a couple of knick knacks for my travel trailer. Then I headed to what was a pretty impressive tool section. Although most of the tools were in pretty rough shape, and on the electric items there was no indication as to whether they'd been tested or not. I also checked out the books and, of course, the surprisingly thorough sewing and craft section. I ended with a trip through the very large clothing section, where I also noticed they have quite a great selection of interesting artwork too. Checkout was kinda weird, as there were extra employees (or maybe they were just friends of employees?) hanging out at the cashier area gossiping. I actually had to sort of make my presence known, even though I was the only customer in the shop. It felt awkward, like I was interrupting a private conversation. Kinda weird! I'll probably stop back next time I'm in Anacortes, as it seems like the kind of place that's probably regularly getting some interesting items on their shelves. Maybe the cashier's chit-chatty friends will have gone home by then.
