This women-owned biz is one of my local favorites when I need a new outfit, shoes, or accessory. Their selection of styles and sizes is over-the-top - they truly have just about EVERYTHING! Recently, I was looking for an outfit for a holiday party, and found several selections to choose from. I ended up with a lovely, bright red sweater that just screamed Christmas (in a cute way). I got so many compliments on it, and everyone wanted to know where I got it. Bonus for the massive parking lot here - although there's almost always a spot right up front. I'm definitely keeping Adora on my list of fave consignment shops in the valley. read more

Super clean, super friendly, they carry all sizes and decent brands. Prices are a little higher than what I would expect for thrifting (seems like pricing starts at $10.90 for most items like jeans and shirts). They do carry a mix of brand new and used accessories. Understanding selection on clothes fluctuates,they had more selection in smaller (XS-S) and larger sizes (20 and up) with limited options in sizes Medium to Large. I was surprised to see Coach and Michael Kors! Worth checking out, but probably not the brands and selection die hard thrifters would be looking for. read more

The owner, Kaylee - was exceptionally nice when I entered the store for the first time. So helpful. such a clean store, and reasonable prices for beautiful clothes. Many items still had price tags! I can't wait to go back. There is something for everyone. I am a senior, but planning taking my adult granddaughters and my daughter-in-law there for shopping as well. Now my best part was meeting Max. Max is the little Yorkie. I am flabbergasted that there was a review where someone complained about a little dog in the store. He is precious and probably 3 pounds. I can't wait to see Max again. I can only figure some people must have sad life to mention such a tiny creature that would make more than 99 percent of customers smile. I was totally humiliated by the person I assumed was the owner. I paid $150.00 for a dress at another shop to wear to my granddaughter's wedding. I took it in to Adora and was told I was ripped off and she guessed the other shop probably paid $6.00 for it. I felt like a fool and couldn't believe I was ripped off like that. She also said it was a very dated style and she could've take it. I ended up giving it to Goodwill. read more

love love love this shop, i bought a beautiful abalone shell necklace here in april and fell in love and wore it everyday until it broke. i was devastated and looked online for hours and couldn't find it again. just went back in end of september and it was there again!! only 4 dollars for the most beautiful and elegant piece of jewlery i've ever worn. the shop owner is so nice and welcoming, every time i go there i stay and talk to her throughout my whole visit. prices are so so reasonable and the clothes are adorable and the sections are very organized, so easy to find everything. every time i go there i always find way more cute and gently used things than i expect from a regular used clothes store. will be taking bus down from bellingham to visit this nice lady when i miss my mama read more

The owner was rude when I brought several pairs of jeans in to sell she found a bit of cat hair on the top of one of the boxes. (Not throughout ). And while I was out side of the store bringing more in she made a point of waiting for me so she could point it out instead of just brushing it off. Then used hand sanitizer like she had some kind of compulsive hand washing disorder. And at the end actually excused herself, as she exclaimed several times she needed to wash her hands. The cloths were clean except the cat hair on one pair and a rogue pair that got mixed in somehow. This is a thrift store you think she would not own a used clothing store if she had so many phobias. But I still gave it three stars because it's a cute store. The owner is just rude. read more

ADUMP is more like it. Took tub of near perfect name brand professional business items, semi-formal and formal wear, belts, shoes- even a Nordstrom purse that cost $225 new, still in perfect condition. Was forced to 'walk around and shop' for 20 minutes while items were examined; chased away twice when I walked back around (shop is not that big and nothing in it was desirable to me); verbally chastised for having everything pressed on hangers, told 'normally they won't even look' at items on hangers (this crucial information is not stated on website). Big lady (owner?) stated I absolutely had 'beautiful items'-BUT she wouldn't take a thing: no belts, shoes-not even Nordstrom purse-due to (slight) smell of (some) items being in closet for awhile. Clean, pressed, beautiful-yet oddly NOT good enough (?!). So even though website states 'clean out your closet' and come on down, they are really only interested in stripper shoes, junk jewelry and looking down their nose at you. Not adora-ble in the least. Not even classy. And biggest head scratcher of all: this store SMELLS LIKE (the) DOG (that was literally running around freely!) and ***shocker*** clothes in a closet.. After all, everything IS used. This place and its employees/vibe is more in line with actually being named after the dog (that apparently smells better than my clothes). Sheesh. Shady, shabby, skip it. read more

I am a regular shopper at Adora. I end up here more often than the thrift store because everything is so clean and well picked. The selection and sales are great, especially the punch card thing! I was happy with how much was available in my larger shoe size. I was surprised by some of the reviews as the owner has always been very friendly each time I have come in and helpful when I need suggestions. I did notice all the good reviews were filters out, weird and sad to see as this is a great local place! read more

This store is so well organized. I have been in the store twice and both times the owner has been super helpful to me, as well as the other shoppers. She is also very friendly, which I really appreciate. It was also a nice surpise to see that they had a small selection of kids clothes, too. After shopping Lables in Bellingham it's hard to find anything that compares, the prices, I feel are kinda high, things I see in other places are somethimes as much as 5$ more here. The environment is kinda awkward and I find the selection lacking. The clothes are very well organized though! It's clean and it seems as if they iron out the clothes before they put them on the racks, very nice looking as well. read more

I Just 'Adore' these stores along with the owner, Kaylee (and Dora). I have bought & sold at many consignment stores & these are top of the line, Bar-None!! Excellent selection & pricing, very neat & clean & just FUN to shop in! I appreciate that you can get straight cash on the spot or do store credit for even more value. The location in Burlington is larger, located in a great shopping area, and the days & hours of operation are the same as any retail boutique, making it perfect for everyone's schedule. I found all of the ladies, in both locations very friendly & out-going and there to assist you with whatever you needed, but not hovering or pushy, and all of them remembered me after my 1st visit....very impressive! 2 thumbs up!! I have used Adora only to consign. The first time, I got only slightly less than I would have liked, but she was friendly, and I figured it's better to get something for your clothes you no longer need than nothing. I went again today to consign, and the store was a disaster! It wasn't neat or orderly. I actually found a couple of pieces I wanted to purchase, but then got quoted way less than I should have. I have a good friend who owns a consignment shop, and she was even upset when I spoke to her about it. Not only that, she has you sign a paper saying that you will pay $5 per bag if you decide not to consign with them! You're basically stuck taking whatever low ridiculous offer she gives you. I was so angry, I took the money and decided not to purchase anything from them. I will donate my clothing to Goodwill from now on. I think it's dishonest to have someone sign a paper making you pay more for her going through the bag of clothes than she is going to even offer you for them. read more

I walked in this store with my daughter, and we were watched like hawks. I saw a lady come out of the dressing room,and the gal who I assumed was the owner ran and litterly grabbed the items from her. She said she would put them away. Which would be fine, but she was very rude about it. The prices were higher than value village. I litterly laughed , and walked out of the store. My friend said she took an consignment there, and Adora looked at her stuff, and just threw it down on the counter making her feel like trash. This lady takes consignments, but then acts like this when you bring them in? I will never walk in this store again. She takes all her good items to her Everett store? I just read previous reviews and looking for a place to bring children's clothing. I went in there to check it out a few months back. The store was in okay shape. BUT I was put off by the attitude of the girl that was working in there when I asked her to explain how the consignment works. She seemed annoyed. Then someone else came in with some items and as soon as the person walked out she started talking smack about that person to the other gal working with her in front of me! I'm thinking about going back and checking it out again just in case it was a bad day for some reason but I walked out thinking I'd never go back. read more
