Since I was going to be spending a week there I decided to make a trip to her store so I could see these beautiful African prints for myself. I went in looking for possibly a jumper or a pant or a maxi skirt. The prints I really wanted weren't available so I perused what was. The owner greeted me and gave me a tour of where everything was. She was doing some work in the back and that was fine because I prefer to figure out what I want. She did suggest a one shoulder type dress that I didn't consider at first because I don't like my arms out (I'm working that part of my body image). I tried on a number and a pair of pants. I was sold on both but the pants were calling me more. When I decided to see how kind the mirror would be, I decided the pants were coming home with me but though I'd grab that dress to try on because, hey, it couldn't hurt right? I. Am. So. Glad. I. Did. That dress looked amazing on me. It was so very flattering that I didn't mind my one arm being exposed. I felt flirty and feminine (I'm more of a tomboy). The African print was beautiful and the colors so flattering. I decided on the dress instead. of course, when I got home I regretted leaving those pants. I will definitely be back to get those pants and I'll definitely be back to see what else comes in.
