While working in Jacksonville last year, I would occasionally stop here for my lunch break. It's kinda like a small mom & pop version of CiCi's Pizza, in that you have a pizza buffet, a salad bar, & a nice place to sit. I've never seen them very busy, so the other tables are usually empty. The personal service is great, tho! They ask if you'd like any specific kind of pizza, & then they make sure to make it for you. For my 2nd visit, they remembered what I ordered on my first visit, so they asked if that's what I wanted this time. So nice of them to remember! The restroom is a one-seater room, & may still be kinda funky when flushing, or have some weird request that you not flush the paper. But, hello, this is America! I'm not in a 3rd-world country, & I'm not gonna flush like there's 3rd-world plumbing! That was really my only complaint. I did enjoy the food. I ordered their vegetarian-friendly pizzas like the veggie pizza, spinach alfredo pizza, & cheese pizzas. They also had great cheesy breadsticks & great dessert (either apple pie pizza or brownies). Adolfo's Pizza, named Adolfo after the owner's son, is indeed a localized copy of CiCi's Pizza. There is a salad bar before getting to the pizza and pasta section of the buffet serving area. The salad bar has a variety of items to add to the lettuce mix. I had always assumed they didn't have bacon bits for the salad until I saw them in a large sugar shaker dispenser with the flatware and crackers. The employees are trained to ask for special requests. I have also seen the employees discard old pizza that had been under the heated buffet serving line instead of expecting the customer to take what they had available. There are several arcade video games lining the far wall of the restaurant and a coin-operated pool table. Like all buffet-style restaurants, the food is better when it is fresh. The employees are very friendly and accommodating. Although special requests are encouraged, I don't take advantage of this perk when I go half an hour before closing time. read more

This place sucks. It used to be good now it's just depressing. Foods sucks. Place sucks. The Mexican lady is just plain rude and mean. Just go somewhere else. Not the place for your family. They also never have food ready when you get there. we had to wait 30 min just to eat. Also they have small styrofoam cups for us to drink from. Just not convenient, they break super easily. read more

One day a on trip through Jacksonville, we decided we wanted pizza and so begins the nightmarish sojourn into the depths of pizza hell that would be named Aldofos. The menu was that cheap plastic menu you find at a state park snack bar or road side ice cream stand. They had outdated video games that a only a few worked properly and most had "no refunds given" signs. The cheap plastic furniture and glazed over look of the guy at the end of the "Pizza Bar" noodling on his phone, should have been the blazing Bat Signal to do a ninja smoke screen and run. I have eaten at some dives that turn out to be ok so we braved it. The young lady at the register seemed pleasant enough but really had the look of "Help me escape" on her face. We ordered the pizza bar and drinks and the price was CHEAP which was lucky for us because so was the quality, when we got it. We actually had to wait for the pizza bar to be stocked, they had a single cheese pizza and some horrid pasta out. We did find the local entertainment amusing as we watched a man squatting in the middle of the parking lot talking to a cigarette butt. I wish I could say that was a jest, butt (pun intended) it is true. When the pizza came out and the man finally walked away arguing with himself, we finally ate. This was a gastronomic assault for which I still have yet to find a crisis center willing to help. The obvious cheap ingredients and the less than stellar effort in making it, shined through to the core. It sang "Even at $5.00 it's still to much to pay!" So endeth the tall of Aldofos. read more

Pizza was ok,if that. There was no pizza out when we came in and pizza was slowly brought out one at a time. Salad bar was decent, and had a variety. Was saddened to say, the best pizza between Jacksonville and Rusk was the Pizza Hut...and this is coming from a woman who likes little hole in the wall places read more

i am reviewing the tyler texas location. very poor selection on pasta's, very blan and plain pizza, In a town that has ken's pizza maybe the greatest buffet style pizza in the world your gonna have to do a whole lot better than this. read more

Ok first thing I love Adolpho's pizza because it is good pizza at a good price, but most of all they are so nice there. When you come in and get the buffet they ask what kind of pizza you want and fix it for you! They have a great salad bar and tv. I go there at least once a week! read more

We like it! I'm not saying it's the best pizza ever but both my husband and I actually really enjoy it! The sauce is not especially flavorful - that's true - but the textures are really good. The prices are great and they are fast - we usually pick it up as opposed to eating at the buffet. We definitely prefer it to the chain places in town and their garlic bread is AWESOME! read more
