Be very careful posting things here. The guy will overcharge you by putting large letters as small parcels. Proved it to him using the plastic size guide and he still denies it. Extremely rude scammer. read more

Very good value for money and very tasty fare, their burgers and pies are not too greasy which is nice. My family have been using this place for years and on a weekend it gets busy. The queues get very long at certian times of the day at this post office, especially at lunch time…read more Most mornings theres already a queue formed just before its opened. It can be very hot waiting in the queue, until you get to the front of the queue as theres an air conditioning fan right above your head. The plastic screens with speakers in that the staff are behind can make it very hard to hear some of them, and some of the card reader machines dont work, which can be extremely embarrassing. Staff are helpful and normally cheerful. They dont mind ebayers, and are happy to discuss alternative postal methods.

It can get fairly busy at certain times but most customers don't seem to mind. I have posted many packages of various sizes and when I have asked for a particular sevice the staff members are usually quick to point out a cheaper but equal service ie because of weight using courier instead of Royal Mail. The shop that the Post office is situated inside of also stocks most items you would associate with postage ie envelopes, brown paper, selotape etc I would highly reccomend.

Hinstock village post office has been around for many years and has had many owners come and go,…read morethe shop was quite close to where i used to live so i always used to use it. It is quite a large shop for a village, and they sell near enough everything, ranging from sweets, frozen foods, tinned food, drinks, alchol, greeting cards, pet food, newspapers, magazines etc. There is also a post office situated at the back, which is handy for the older people of the village, so if they can't drive the post office is easily for them to use, instead of going into town, from here you can send letters and parcels, draw out money from your bank, get insurance, really everything you can do at mainstream post offices. The shop is open from 8.00am to 6.00am every day except sundays when it close at 12.00am.

Small post office normally very busy and full of drug addicts cashing their benefits so queue can be long and smell can be unbearable. Sells small selection of chocolates, magazines and cards of a reasonable price along with cigarrettes which are dramatically overpriced.
