I'll admit the appointments for first consultations are not very flexible but he needs time to sit with the patients to really review the medical history and to weigh all options . However my wait time was not very long , there wasn't much paperwork to fill out , the receptionist and front desk was very nice , they gave me notes for my employer and gave me anything I asked for . They speak English Russian and hebrew , and most insurance plans are accepted. When I sat with the doctor he was friendly courteous , has a good sense of humor and he was very understanding of my needs , went through my diet my lifestyle and my medical history . I love how he didn't force me to do anything outside my comfort zone , I didn't have to do sonogram right then and there , I didn't have to bloodwork right away either and I love how he did everything in his power to find a solution to my problem without having to do a cystoscopy , he has a more holistic approach . He gave me lots samples of new medications on the market for overactive bladder and he sent the prescription he ordered to my pharmacy right away . He educated me a lot on my problem and I feel so relieved . I can tell he cares a lot about his patients and his practice , he definitely looks forward to seeing his patients again to monitor their health , he does not rush you through anything at all but he knows how to get down to the point , he literally solved my problem in less then 20 mins . King's Smile Dental with Dr. Fikhman is the first place where I actually felt like... alright, I'm good here. The first thing you notice is the office is just easy to deal with. Whoever's at the front desk is on it -- not robotic, not annoying, just friendly and helpful. Making the appointment was simple, and when I had to change it (more than once, because my schedule is a mess), they didn't give me attitude or make it complicated. They worked with me and got me in, which I really appreciated. Now the important part: Dr. Fikhman. He has that calm, confident vibe that makes you relax a little, and he actually explains what's happening instead of just doing stuff and disappearing. He checks in, makes sure you're comfortable, answers questions, and you can tell he cares about the work being right, not just "done." Also the place feels modern without being all flashy about it. The equipment/tech seems up to date and the whole process felt organized, like they're not winging it. And after everything I had done, the results honestly came out great. If you've had meh dentist experiences and you want someone you can stick with long-term, I'd recommend Dr. Fikhman. This is the first time I've left a dental office and actually felt relieved instead of stressed.

This was my first visit to Dr. Branovan and after an easy check in process at the front desk, I saw the doctor. He looked in my ear, throat, and put the camera device through my nose. We had a question and answer back and forth of my symptoms. He explained what he thinks is wrong with my ear and suggested treatment with antibiotics, two nasal sprays - followed by a CT Scan of my sinus. He then told me he knows exactly how I am feeling - as if my ear is under water when someone is speaking to me and he was spot on. (It made me feel great to hear him say that because it's a big fear when you don't know if a doctor can really understand what is bothering you). Additionally a huge thanks to Tatyana at the front desk for helping me with the CT Scan process and pharmacy information. I really don't know why anyone would give less than 5 stars. Because they waited a while? I personally didn't wait - and was seen on time but even if I had to wait - isn't that a testament of how good the doctor is that so many people want to see him? Deceptive Billing, Unnecessary Blood Tests, and Public Humiliation…read more I scheduled my appointment through the clinic's website, which clearly stated the $300 fee included both the medical exam and completion of Form I-693. When I arrived, the receptionist confirmed this. Even the doctor told me--without me even asking--that the $300 covered both the appointment and the documentation. He said a blood test might be an additional charge and necessary to complete my I-693 which I agreed. I had already provided proof of all required vaccinations, and blood test that I got in another clinic and my insurance paid for it, so there was no medical reason to run any tests. Still, they mentioned one specific blood test, but then performed a different one that I did not need. When I returned to receive my results, I was suddenly told I had to pay another $300 to complete the documentation(form I-693) completely contradicting what both the website and staff had previously confirmed. When I questioned it, the receptionist began yelling at me in front of the entire waiting room and refused to finalize my paperwork unless I paid again. It was deeply unprofessional and humiliating. After leaving, I called the clinic to clarify. They told me the website was "wrong," and that the true cost was $300 for the exam and another $300 for the form (I-693) something never disclosed at any point. I requested a detailed, itemized bill showing the charges for both the appointment and filling the form but they refused. All they offered was a basic credit card receipt. When I finally received a billing summary, through email they cc two more people who could see all my bill and personal information, however they didn't disclose the charges and instead just sent me a total of due without specific information, so i had to request a disclosed bill and when I got it,they were charging me for hepatitis b, varicella and MMR titer and i had the vaccines for all these (I gave them my vaccine record including vaccines for these diseases so not blood test was necessary) This clinic is dishonest, lacks transparency, and operates unethically. They performed unnecessary medical procedures, changed prices after the fact, refused to provide proper billing, and publicly humiliated me. I strongly urge others to avoid this place at all costs

This medical office can be hazardous to your health!…read more I chose this office for a general check-up as I had not gone for one for several years. It was nearby, and the picutures of the office looked decent. I was able to make an appointment the next day, which was convenient. But, that is where the positives end. To start my exam, I saw a very nice young woman, but she was not a doctor. She was a PA. Spoke to me about my medical history, etc. I told her I was having an issue with my foot. A few days before, I went to a podiatrist (at a different location/office) and was told that I had injured my foot. I showed the PA my foot, and she said it looked normal (when it is more swollen than my other foot). So, who do I believe? The PA at Dr. Yuryev, or the podiatrist I had seen the week before? Well, the podiatrist ordered an MRI. I went for the MRI, and I have six stress fractures in my right foot. So much for the PA at this office for spotting an issue. Which, of course, they didn't. Then a blood test was taken. I received a call the next day from Dr. Yuryev's office to inform me that they have the results and that someone will call me to discuss. I then got a call from another PA at Dr. Yuryev to discuss the blood test result. First, he went over the good points. Then he went into the bad. I was told that I am anemic, with hemoglobin, hematocrit and RBC all below reference range. The PA told me that in addition to being anemic, I probably have a slow bleed inside of me, probably a tumor in my colon, and that I may have colon cancer. Well, when I heard that, I of course was quite upset. What is strange is that I have no pain and when I looked up the symptoms of colon cancer, I have none of it. I'm not tired all of the time, so I don't know how I could possibly have anemia. I was then told to see a gastroenterologist for a colonoscopy. I was given a reference to one from their office. Called the reference. An appointment was a month away and it was only a 10-minute video visit. That really isn't good enough. I found out on my own that I should have the blood test retaken and get a ferratin (Iron) blood test. So, what did I do? I went and found a really great gastroentrologist in Manhattan. Quickly got an appointment. Met with a real doctor this time. I showed him the blood test result. He said I shouldn't be too worried over it. He retook the blood test. And did a ferratin test. The result? Everything was in range! What a relief. The ferratin test showed everything with my iron levels was normal. Didn't look like I was anemic. While I was at the gastroenterologist, he set up a colonoscopy. I had that procedure done. The result? All NEGATIVE! No polyps, no tumors, no bleeding, nothing. I am NOT bleeding inside my colon, as I was told I probably was by the PA from Dr. Yuryev's office. I went into Dr. Yuryev's office feeling fine, and left being sick from what I was told. Thankfully it all worked out fine for me in the end, but the experience from Dr. Yuryev's office really scared me and worried me to no end for a couple of months until I knew the real results. What a lousy experience. PAs really aren't good enough. You need to see a doctor. With New York State now allowing PAs to administer your health care instead of a real doctor, more stories like mine may emerge. Moral of the story? Don't go to a doctor in Brooklyn. Always go to one in Manhattan if you can. There IS a difference!

LUCKIEST MAN ALIVE!!! I'm not going to start this Google…read morereview out with "I never do this". I have done Google reviews, but I feel this one is most necessary. I went to visit Dr. Kokolis (Complete Cardiovascular Care) on February 22 of 2021 and explained to him what I was feeling/experiencing for that past year or so while seeing a new inexperienced primary care physician. After completion of my appointment with Dr. Kokolis, I was immediately referred and scheduled for an MRI on 2/25 of my head which determined I had a large (Tumor) brain cancer. I was summoned to Dr. Kokolis' office Within 20 minutes of returning from the MRI then sent immediately to the ER at NYU Langone. Dr. Kokolis called ahead & informed Dr. Placantonakis I was on my way and the situation on hand. Upon arrival I was moved at light speed through the process having my first lifesaving procedure of a partial tumor resection on 3/5/21. After the healing process I received concurrent Radiation/Chemo therapy. My Brain Cancer has been stable for 3+ years now. I have not had a seizure since Dr. Jongeling my (Epilepsy specialist) changed my anti-seizure medication to Briviact, also 3+ years. Now WAIT! that's not the end. For more than a year I have been experiencing chest pains, discomfort, fatigue, and lack of energy. I felt helpless with no ambition to move on. There were 2-3 more ER visits where no findings were made. I was fighting each day to get out of bed, continue to work, but yet still put on that smiley face for everyone around me. I was unhappy, in pain and felt helpless for such a long time that I was beginning to accept this is life now. I made an appointment with Dr. Kokolis and during the visit I attempted then Quit the office stress test prematurely. Dr. Kokolis sent me for a more detailed stress test where it was determined that I had a 40% blockage to my heart. Yes 40%, so I immediately began to cut down on my horrible eating habits (junk food). I was over 215 lbs. losing 20 lbs. in a short time. I continued to have ice cream and the bad things, but not nearly as much. For the last several weeks, I was having chest pain and head pressure with dizziness where I pushed it off trying to avoid a doctors/ER visit. On 10/09/2024 with no other option I walked into Dr. Kokolis's office unannounced and was seen by the doctor. Following an EKG and vitals, I was seen by Dr. Kokolis where he asked me questions while taking notes (I could actually see the equations floating above his head as we spoke and he jotted everything down) he then decided that I was going straight to the emergency room at Lenox Hill Hospital in Manhattan by ambulance. There's no time to prepare for anything like this or an option to wait for a Loved one to be by your side. Dr. Kokolis again called ahead and spoke to a Dr. (Dr. Dominguez) and informed him that I was on my way and would need an angiogram. The angiogram determined that I now had a severely blocked artery to my heart. "THE WIDOW MAKER"which was now at 90%. I found this scary part out after the Life Saving procedure, realizing how truly LUCKY I am to still be alive. Not only am I the LUCKIEST MAN ALIVE, I am ever so grateful & thankful to everyone on my care teams. Dr. Kokolis is not only a medical professional, he is not only a Compassionate doctor who is dedicated in his field, but a true MEDICAL GENIUS who knows how and when to act. My life has now been saved for the second time by Dr. Kokolis' quick thinking & expert experience without blinking an eye or breaking a sweat.
