BEWARE OF THIS DOCTOR! DETAILED REVIEW AHEAD. As someone who belongs to a family of doctors and is a medical student herself, I am absolutely shocked as to how this doctor is in practice. Medical students are taught how to interact with patients in a respectful manner and provide patient-centered care. However, this doctor embodies none of those qualities. This doctor is extremely rude and has so much attitude. As you can also see how defensive she is in her replies to patients who clearly had a bad experience. Goes to show how self-centered and arrogant she is. Her motto 'take it or leave it' is absolutely ridiculous, because sometimes patients don't have any other choice but to deal with her. Especially South Asian patients who might not have access to other desi OB/GYN and feel comfortable with having her as their doctor due to common language. Instead of fixing her attitude, she blames the patients for their worries who are already in a vulnerable emotional state. So please note this Dr. Hafeez, just because someone has been coming to you for many years is not because you're a good doc as these other fake positive reviews may indicate, but because you belong in their comfort zone! My sweet mother needed to get surgery. Surgery is obviously a scary procedure and leaves the patients with so many questions and concerns. Every time my sister, who's also a medical doctor, asked her specific questions, she would get extremely defensive and impolite and would quickly shut her down. We are concerned about our mother and want the best possible care for her. The way she interacted with my sister just showed how arrogant and egoistic she is. I remember my mother coming home and saying how she feels intimidated by this doctor but also needs to get the procedure done ASAP because she is in pain. We looked at different doctors who could have consulted my mother with her problems, but due to COVID, other docs weren't available any time soon. We had no other option but to go ahead and let this physician perform the surgery. tried our best to look for other kind physicians who would actually care for their patients, unlike this one. My mother got the surgery done and I totally understand that post-operative complications can occur, but physicians should be mindful of such situations. After the surgery, my mother was in so much pain and constantly kept getting a high-grade fever even after a few days of the surgery. My sister wanted to inquire about these issues but she didn't feel comfortable talking directly to the physician because of her extreme rudeness. My mother talked to the doctor herself and explained the situation and the doctor kept prescribing her medications for 'common infection' without even running tests and see what's actually going on with her. On day 10, we took her to the emergency room because her fever wasn't going away and the antibiotics she was prescribed weren't working. Turns out my mother had a severe infection that has traveled to other parts of her body and she now needs another procedure done to get it treated. My mother is stuck in the hospital in the midst of a pandemic only because this doctor didn't care enough to see what was actually causing the problem. If we kept listening to this doctor and didn't act on our intuition and took my mother to the emergency, God knows what could've happened. Please be aware of the fake positive reviews. This doctor lacks empathy and does not care about her patients. At this point, I can safely go ahead and say that she is just there to make money. She lacks basic respect and is just blatantly rude. Not to mention she thinks very highly of herself and makes the other person feel uncomfortable and dumb due to her condescending attitude. We should've just gone with our gut feeling and waited a few more months for an appointment with a better doctor. I request you all to get out of your comfort zone and look for other physicians who would actually provide you the care you deserve. Beyond disappointed. I usually don't write reviews but this was ridiculous. Waited roughly 2 hours to get called in to just be spoken to with a nonchalant attitude and disregard. The facility is below par and low quality. What a waste of time. read more

I am writing this review after 6 years! So, please read it. Attiya Hafeez was my OB with my first child in 2012 I wish, I could give her zero star or had some kind of a power to cancel her license. She is from Pakistan and almost all her patients are desi because some prefer Muslim OB and some have language issue. She is rude and unprofessional. Her office is so depressing, small, old and not enough chairs for pregnant women's I believed she lives upstairs and doesn't even wash her face to work. She is always in rush and doesn't listen to her patients. All her stuffs are unprofessional and rude. They don't answer the phone and the wait is extremely long! She insists or basically forces her patients to have a c-section. When I was 37 weeks pregnant with my first child, she told me to schedule a c-section and she have an opening in two days which means she wanted me to schedule a c-section for no reason at 37.2 weeks? Not even full term. I asked her why? She goes "oh your baby is measuring big and plus you will never go into labor by yourself." I left her office crying and made another appointment to discuss this with my husband. When I went with my husband she simply lied and said I never told your wife to schedule a c-section! Finally, when I went into a labor 2 days before my due date, she was off but came in again sleepy like she just woke up and didn't even wash her face, let alone a shower. My labor with him was only two hours and I was 8.5 centimeters when I went to the hospital and from 8.5 to 10 centimeters in 20 minutes. She came in and bullied me into a c-section for no reason. I was young and first time mom so I agreed. When they took me to the operation room, the other doctor asked why is she having a c-section? She is so young and a first time mom I would give her enough time but Attiya Hafeez and the nurse both lied that I was in labor for 7 hours and not progressing! I overheard them but it was too late, I was already cut! I went through depression and still makes me depressed thinking about it. I had two vaginal deliveries with my new OB and midwife after that and both were big babies! When my midwife saw my records she was confused and shocked and asked me why exactly I had a c-section? Because there is nothing written in this report. I had no complication. She is lucky because 99% of her patients are immigrants and don't speak English and don't know their rights so it's easy for her to bully them! Please, don't go to her! The next day when the other doctor came to see my stitches, he asked who did your c-section? I said Dr.Hafeez he goes, she did a good job! Went in for the first time, waited for around 5 hours and when I went in I met the rudest person on earth. Have never met anyone like her. Should have checked her ratings before visiting her. I'm so disappointed for all the time I wasted in her office. Only the nurse was nice the rest were ignorant creatures. Super rude and unprofessional. Disgusted by her attitude. I went to this gyn. with my sister during her pregnancy, and boy do we regret it !! Usually I don't do reviews but this so called doctor lady was way out of her league for me to not write anything about her. Because it's becoming a trend for her and her office staff to talk to patients in such behaviors. Not once did I see her talk politely with any of her patients, including my sister. Her verbal exchange was very rude and disturbing. I don't comprehend how such a lady became a doctor, that too, a Gyn, where you need to treat each patient as sincerely as possible. If patients already knew her medical terms, they would not go to her for reasons. She would not take the time to explain anything, stating "I have to sit here and teach here now?" when asked a question by my sister. Also, directly pointing out towards my sister's hijab as the reason for not being able to understand. "You guys wear Hijab, that's why you can't hear me". How does she get to maintain her license with such discriminatory mind, and with all these ratings against her. People need to boycott this lady, the sooner the better. I have never experienced such an unpleasant and distasteful experience with a doctor. I went in with my mother who has anxiety about her current condition. Firstly, the office workers did not confirm if my insurance would cover the visit. After having seen the doctor and receiving a pap smear, both of which would cost my mother more than she can afford, the office workers had the audacity to tell me that her insurance does not cover her visit. After receiving a pap smear and waiting for the results, I was informed that I would need to come in for another visit just to see my results and pay $100 for that visit. As for the doctor, Dr. Hafeez Attiya is an incompassionate and rude doctor who does not care about her patients. Regardless of the amount of patients one has to see throughout the day, it would have taken her a few minutes to reassure my mother that everything would be okay and that they would let her know the results as soon as they are available. Dr. Attiya lacks the human decency to console my mother and guide her so that that the process can go smoothly. If you are looking to see a gynecologist in this area, you are better off searching somewhere else. read more
