We stumbled upon Adler Beatty on a recent trip to NYC because it shares the same building as the David Zwirner art gallery.
Adler Beatty is an art dealer representing a wide range of artists including Basquiat, Calder, Cézanne, Haring, Miró, Picasso, Pollock, Ruscha, Warhol, etc.
The Brian Thoreen: Minor Acts of Control consisted of one room and a piece in someone's office. There was also a reception area where we were greeted. It's a smaller gallery, so there wasn't that much to see. The staff was friendly and welcoming.
The gallery shares a stately Upper East Side building (formerly a residence?) near Central Park with a spiral staircase, fireplaces, and large windows facing the street.
