Once a bit dull and lifeless our home is now beautiful, colorful, unique, and ours. My wife and I are not easy, we often don't agree on aesthetics. Billy and Lisa caught on to this early on, listened to what we both liked, and planned accordingly. They came up with ideas that appealed to both of us and that fit well with our space. A once very awkward living room with spatial challenges is now warm and inviting. Billy and Lisa are gracious and fair about their time. Our costs were never questioned and we trusted them completely with all money-related transactions. They had our backs with saving money whenever possible as well. I cannot say enough about this brother and sister team. If you need help with your home and are selling or rehabbing , these are your people.

Anyhow now that they finished with the remodeling they seem to be enlightened every time I visit them, they "brag" about the great job the contractor did, and honestly after seeing the "makeover" I'm not surprised. I don't know much about construction but I can tell the contractor did a great job. I am a man of details and so the one thing that I did notice about the craftsmanship is that everything was leveled and perfectly aligned, the whole house looks absolutely fantastic and my parents are thrilled with their "new" home. If my parents are happy then I'm happy, and obviously it's because My Design Guide that did a great job and helped my parents with the remodeling

Her taste is incredible, the quality of furnishings brought into our home was top-notch, and her general design sense is second-to-none. If you're on the fence about using a home stager, especially in a strong seller's market, you shouldn't be. Our home (which was, honestly, kinda busted) sold for $250,000 above asking (no joke), and I know it's in a large part due to Michelle's incredible staging. I know we made back every dollar we spent on staging, and then some. Beyond staging, Michelle also guided us on tough decisions in terms of what to fix up before listing our home, often talking us *out* of spending money where we otherwise would have. She has a knack for knowing what buyers are looking for and what moves houses, quickly. Our poor bedraggled home sold in less than a week. We blinked and we were in escrow. So yeah, don't leave money on the table, use Michelle to stage your home.

I should have sensed that was not a good sign, but I still picked her among the 3 companies I interviewed, fir the early availability and the better price. Our house was listed for ovrr 2 mil, fully renovated with high end fixtures., there was a lot of compliment on the house with no furniture already. The staging job was very disappointed to us. The style was very outdated and the material was also dated like from the 80's. One of the mugs displayed was even chipped. The house was staged like a trust sale of grand parents' house. So we decided to have them removed ASAP even though we know we are going to loose a lot. $8200+ was requested to be paid upfront in full. But I felt their work didn't bring the value to my house but opposite. Nothing was like any of the pictures on her website or Yelp. And the wall decor was all very light material, but we found many big holes on the plaster wall after they removed everything. It dose not make any sense that a professional staging company will let their workers to use so many big bolt screws to hang light decor while there is so many more advanced option on the market. I didn't see any respect from them to the client's property. Because I asked Michelle to remove everything 3 days after it's staged, so I received a refund of $1220 plus the unpaid $500 for basement, per Michelle it's included in the refund from my total payment of $8022, and get to use the pictures that was already taken by their photographer. The photos came out good with so much brighten effect. Abs with the $6000 + payment I made, I will of course try to get the most out of it by using the photos.

She found us the perfect craftsman style 1906 home in the heart of San Dimas. This short sale was anything but short, but Maressa and her team made the 10 month process smooth and effortless. With both my boyfriend and I working full-time and living busy lives, they made transactions convenient and easy by using user friendly modern technology such as Docusign. We never had to rush to a location or a scanner in order to sign a new addendum. It was all at our fingertips even on our iPhones. Her team at NuHome Financial communicated so well with us. They even texted us off the clock and on the weekends answers to any questions we had. They got us the best rate we could ask for at 3.375 for 30 year fixed rate. We could not have asked for a better realtor or team. Expect nothing but the best from Maressa. Updated review 3 years later.... We are so grateful for Maressa for helping us with both the purchase and sale of our first home. Anyone who knows her, knows how fierce she is. When she says she's going to do something, she puts her whole heart into it. No doubt, she had our best interest in mind from the very start. During a time when we were not aware of the possibility of purchasing a home, my sister educated us and helped our dream become a reality. She advocated for us every step of the way until those keys were in our hands February 2013. Then this past November, she did it again. I called her on a Tuesday night to ask about the possibility of selling. By Wednesday she gave us all our options. By Thursday pictures were taken. By Friday we were on the market. By Saturday she hosted an open house. By Sunday we received multiple offers. By Monday we opened escrow and one month later we closed. She doesn't mess around! If you are looking to buy or sell, Maressa will make it happen for you!!!
