I spoke with my colleagues and friends and found a common advice, that for the budget we were targeting, we would have to let go at least 3-4 houses before we can win the bid, and we would still have to compromise on few things. We were actually looking for rental places, but looking at the high rental costs, we gathered the courage to call Simmi to find out if we can buy a house within our budget - one of the best decisions of our lives :) It was late Sunday evening when we called Simmi and she agreed to meet us, in the next one hour. We were surprised, excited, and skeptical. When we met Simmi, the first question she asked us was "How familiar are you with the house buying process?" Later Simmi went over with entire House buying process with us. I was very impressed with the fact that Simmi really wants to educate her clients. No matter how many questions we had, and trust me we had many of them, she patiently answered all our questions to our satisfaction. During our entire conversation, we never felt that Simmi was trying to sell us something, or trying to rush things. She explained us all the things in details, what to expect at every stage of the process. She was very upfront with her answers, and never had any grey areas. She understood our lifestyle, our preferences - must haves / nice to haves, our needs - current and future, and our budget. I don't know how, but the houses she showed us, were literally how we had envisioned them when telling her our preferences. I was amazed as to how she picked these houses from the notes she made during our conversation. Simmi is a mind reader!!! Through the entire buying process, Simmi worked very closely with us, according to our schedule, and often late nights. For the things we thought were not possible in Seattle market, Simmi made things happen as per our expectations. Simmi has a knack of understanding the market really well, in our case she could predict the high's and low's to get us an awesome deal. She is a great negotiator. I am sure there were a ton of things going on behind the scenes, but we never felt stressed working with Simmi. She was always there for us, guiding us through.
