My experience at Aspen Dental has been absolutely horrible. The majority of the staff have…read moreunprofessional, nasty attitudes and get irritated easily by simply doing their job. It's disappointing to see how personal they take things when that has no place in a professional environment. Every patient deserves to feel welcomed, respected, and cared for -- but this office completely fails at that. Respect works both ways -- in order to receive it, you must also give it. Unfortunately, this staff doesn't seem to understand that. I had a root canal done on Tuesday, then called the next day (Wednesday) to ask if the dentist could also check my chipped tooth while completing my crown procedure on Thursday. That's when I found out my appointment had been canceled -- and not by me. I never canceled my crown appointment, and it makes absolutely no sense to cancel it when I just had a root canal. When I asked who canceled it, no one knew. The front desk lady showed zero care or concern and acted like the situation didn't matter. The level of unprofessionalism is shocking. On top of the poor attitudes, the cleanliness of this location is completely unacceptable. The rooms are filthy, the floors look like they haven't been mopped, and I honestly question if their tools and equipment are even being sanitized properly. For a dental office, this level of hygiene is disturbing and unsafe. I have decided to take my crown procedure elsewhere -- to a more professional dental office that actually values patients and maintains a clean, welcoming environment. Aspen Dental has completely lost my trust as a patient. Someone from the corporate or franchise office seriously needs to step in and take a hard look at this location. From the lack of professionalism to the poor sanitation and careless communication, this office is a mess. I would not recommend this Aspen Dental to anyone -- save yourself the headache and go somewhere that truly cares about your health and time. Make sure you double-check that Aspen Dental actually canceled your appointment if you no longer want any services from them. They'll tell you it's canceled, but in reality, they often don't follow through -- which feels sneaky, because it means they can still get paid for active appointments. I even have a recording of the manager confirming that my appointment was canceled, the refund amount that should appear in my account, and that I wouldn't be billed for anything else. So if they don't follow through and I end up getting an unexpected bill for a procedure I never even received, I'll be suing Aspen Dental!

Which is there reason every single time. How on earth do you never have a hygienist working at a dentist office. The 2 times I actually have been able to go they barely know what they are doing. A literal joke of a dentist office.

With that being said I've had 2 root canals done here and both went swell. Made me feel at ease, broke down the process for me. Even going to bat for me with fighting my insurance for the crown because lord knows insurance companies want you to pay so much money to be covered then don't wanna cover you when you actually need something done. But definitely a good job for sure and my teeth feel better. Receptionists are always nice and informative, and Dr. Omar Almakky was very nice.

My last visit was scheduled outside my benefit coverage and cost me $181. The scheduled appointment was made 25 days before my contract renewal date, and I had to pay for that. I have had twice yearly insured dental visits for over 40 years and this has never happened until now. I shelled out $181 for routine maintenance and they couldn't have cared less. The office manager told me that it was my responsibility to know what my benefits were and that they had thousands of patients to look after. Even though I had to correct them twice before about my contract coverage being based on renewal, and not every 6 months. This is in addition to being criticized and harassed about having a gold tooth in the front which I chose to get prior to being a patient here. The dentist told me on every visit he could "fix" that for me. The hygienist one time asked me "if I was trying to look like a pirate". So insulting. These people are rude, oblivious, and incompetent. Now they have "thousands of patients" minus one. Go here at your own risk.

Finally they corrected that to bruxism, which is covered by my insurance. I stupidly paid $844.00 before I even saw the dentist. They have overcharged me $779.00. The charge was for a night guard that I am required to pay 20% of the allowed amount of $325.02 that my insurance paid. My insurance company said what I owed was only $65.00 (the 20% of allowed amount of 325.02. I didn't know how much my allowed charge was because, get this, they have you pay before you even see a dentist! I have been fighting for my refund since February, 2026 and have only received $247.47 of the $779 which is owed me. If you go, refuse to pay upfront and check with your insurance company on how much to pay. They give you a receipt that shows no breakdown of costs. In all this, I told them to call the number on the back of my insurance card, but doesn't seem like they even did that. I have finally printed out my EOB plus other insurance papers. So, anyway I'm still fighting for the rest of my refund. The accounting lady also has a snotty attitude. If yo decide to go here, I hope you don't fall for their game as I did. I initially had gone to the West Chester location, I did not have a good experience and my cleaning was mediocre at best. I felt like they were just trying to sell me services. I explained all that to Dr. Khan and she did my cleaning personally. I found that to be impressive. She also took the time to explain why I needed crowns to cover my very old silver fillings. I am thoroughly impressed with my new crowns, they feel natural and to have it all done in one day vs the olden days with a temporary and multiple appointments is icing on the cake.

Such a crappy job. For myself, I had the rest of my teeth pulled out. He did the impressions for my dentures after 2 weeks with my mouth still swollen. He kept telling me we could keep relining them until they fit right but as soon as he seen we were on caresource all at once it was 500 everytime I come in for a change for them to fit. So as of now I still have no dentures because of him and my sons whole mouth full of crowns are now gone and he will end up having to have them all pulled and get dentures himself. Such a shady place. I don't recommend this dentist to anyone. If you are private pay or have an insurance company other than medicaid, you may get better treatment. I felt like we got screwed over big time.

I had to call and cancel a cleaning because of an illness and intended to reschedule. However, before I could ask for a new appointment, I was told that since it was my third cancellation going back to last year, I'd have to call for a same day appointment requiring daily calls until there was availability. Alternatively, I could give them a deposit assuming the intent is to ensure I show up. I've NEVER been a no show and the implication is insulting. I expressed my opinion and asked that it be shared with Dr. Kulwin.

First & foremost I would like…read moreto say that until today I felt Kemper Meadow Forest Park Office was the best dental office in the city. The Dr. & the dental hygienist in the back area are by far the friendliest set of professionals I've ever met. I had a routine cleaning visit today & I was not informed about any outstanding balance for a retainer until I was checking out from my appointment today. I was unaware that there was a charge for anything related to the retainer, as I had not been reminded of it during my previous visits, despite having been to the office three times since August 2024. In fact, when I went to check out after my appointment today, I was told I had a balance of over $300, which was a complete surprise to me. Additionally, I was given the retainer by the doctor to try on after my evaluation, to ensure that my teeth had not shifted. At the time, I was not made aware that there would be any cost associated with this retainer. I left the office still wearing it, only to be told at the checkout that I needed to pay for it immediately or return it. I was deeply embarrassed and humiliated when another patient, a white customer, found the situation amusing and openly laughed at me. This made the experience even more uncomfortable and distressing. I also found it deeply unprofessional that I was told I had to give back the retainer that was in my mouth--filled with saliva--if I could not pay for it. I did so, but I was left feeling degraded and disrespected. When I called back to discuss the situation and express my dissatisfaction, the person I spoke with told me that it "doesn't matter" that I didn't take the retainer home, as it had been made for me, and that the charge would not be removed from my account. This response felt dismissive and unhelpful, and I am left feeling that my concerns were not taken seriously. I want to make it clear that I have no issue paying for any legitimate charges I owe. I even offered to make a payment towards the balance today using my HSA card and was denied. However, the way I was treated at checkout was unprofessional and unacceptable. It is disheartening to feel as though I was subjected to discriminatory treatment, as I do not believe this would have occurred had I been a white customer. I was humiliated and embarrassed. I've worked in the Health Insurance Industry for over 26 years & never in my life have seen a retainer repossessed from out of someone's mouth. Unacceptable!!
