They've placed me with the most interesting jobs and with the best pay rates. I highly suggest them, especially Agnes. She's great, personable and knowledgable! I can honestly say they really are good, if not dedicated, to their craft and out of all the other agencies, have been some of the best at catering to their clients and placements. I'd definitely recommend them to anyone who wants jobs in the Westchester area.

I am appalled by the lack of professionalism from this recruiting agency. I recently gave notice…read moreat my current job when Classic Westchester approached me for a freelance position. They wanted me to start immediately regardless that my 2 weeks notice was not complete. I explained that I could not leave my current job high and dry however managed to shave off a few days and start the position sooner than expected. Classic Westchester confirmed this with The Company and everyone agreed I can start the date that I proposed. I signed paper work. I told friends and family. 2 days later (less than a week before I was supposed to start) they called to tell me The Company "backed out" last minute because they found someone else on their own. Classic Westchester tried to soften the blow by explaining that they told me The Company needed me immediately and these things happen. I've never heard of such a thing and asked to never be contacted again. I will never be working with Classic Westchester again!

Their follow up and communication is top notch. They made me feel as if I was the only person they were trying to place. They help in all aspects of the job search from resume customization to interview prep. Thank you Stephanie! She is an asset to the company.

Custom Staffing used to be one of the best employment agencies I'd ever been to. Their staff was…read morefriendly, returned phone calls and generally seemed to care about their candidates. They consistently called me with assignments tailored to my abilities and interests. Then, somewhere around the time the economy tanked, that changed dramatically. I would call and e-mail recruiters for weeks to no avail. I assumed their lack of response was due to the overwhelming number of candidates that were contacting them. Given the fact that I had worked for them previously and they were familiar with my abilities, I was still surprised when I talked to recruiters who promised to get back to me and never did. If they had no openings, that was never conveyed to me. Several months later, I got a call and accepted an assignment that I was eventually pulled off of with no warning or explanation, an action that strangely coincided with my daring to ask whether the company planned to hire me permanently or not. To add insult to injury, Custom had the nerve to ask me to return the company ID (which I'm sure could have been deactivated without my having to schlep it to them) before a holiday weekend, dangling my paycheck as a carrot unless it was returned. Totally ridiculous and unprofessional. To be honest, I'm sure the only reason they contacted me about this job in the first place was because no one else wanted it, a fact that was revealed to me within the first week.

Really rude recruiters. These guys brought me in after contacting me through Linkedin and accused…read moreme of "misleading" them with my background. Haha...yeah, sure. They acted like very aggressive sales people and insulted my appearance...all because they were upset that I've already been submitted in the past to one of their biggest accounts through another agency. I can't help it if it's written into your own contract that I can't be resubmitted for the same clients. Whoops. I was so upset over how bad my experience was that I told them I wasn't interested in working with them at all but they were really very persistent and kept calling me and sending me unsolicited emails. This'll teach me to never deal with Linkedin Recruiters ever again. Beware! These people will try to act like you need them more than they need you and then lowball you with really bad rates. They have very little leads and are nothing more than a resume mill that spams candidates on Linkedin and utilizes sales tactics in a "boiler room" type atmosphere. These are not real recruiters. Stick with better agencies like Creative Buzz, Adecco, Artisan or Vanguard.

I was contacted by a TPG recruiter by email. I am assume they found my information on LinkedIn. I…read moreresponded twice but there was no response. To me that is not only rude but professionally incompetent. I received another email from another TPG recruiter about a second opportunity. Based on my experience with poor communication with this agency, I asked to be taken out their database and to no longer contact me. I do not have the time or inclination to work with unprofessional recruiters. There are many good recruiters (and opportunites) to choose from. Update: I contacted the Business Manager as requested in the response from Top Prospect. You may have guessed - no response back.
