It was until i got a herniated dish and couldn't walk too far that i decided to check this place out. HOLY COW. This place is the most serene, quiet, calm, clean mini park i have seen. There usually only one it two other people here when i go, and it's like having the park all to myself. It's so tiny, so as you are walking you can see the entire park in a circle. This really helped me mentally when i herniated my disk, so now i come here when I'm stressed and need a mental break! I love this kil secret park.

I couldn't see that the trees were wrapped in twinkle lights yet, but that glow over the park was almost .... angelic! Then there it was! Each tree had an entire wrapping of the lights on their trunks. And the larger trees had some branches that were lit up also. I am sure the persons who arranged the lights for the park was very careful to know and pick which trees could support how much extra weight. It was so beautiful. Now every year that I am able, I will go back to see the Holiday Display at Vetruvian Park. Last year I was in hospital from mid-December until February 13. I felt like I had let down a good friend when I couldn't make my annual voyage. I don't know how many more years I have been given, but to celebrate the birthday of Christ I will be there among the Angel Lights! Go see them! It's a wonderful experience for all!

Bosque wasn't his last name, so don't get that connection, but the lay out is wonderful, with winding tree-lined paths, a sprouting fountain in the middle with tables and chairs surrounding it so we can sit, chat and have our morning coffee, or bring our mutts to chase the squirrels back up the trees. Plenty of poopy pouches for these 4-legged kids, too, with plenty of disposal areas. And to top it off, this is where on the Friday of TX/OU weekend in '12, my husband and I said our vows in front of 30 ppl who just loved the setting, so beautiful, peaceful and enchanting just before sunset!!

If you keep going around the corner you will reach the other point of the trail entrance/exit. Kind of getting a 3 in 1 here, each park boasts their own special features. No parking anywhere so you will just have to walk and find the way.

I was so happy and wanted to do it immediately. (but had to wait for good weather) Today was gorgeous out, almost 80 so I decided to go for it. The ride is not short, but safe, goes through playgrounds, soccer fields, under highways, it's a fun ride. It has many routes that I will explore in the future. Can't wait to do so! :D
