What a beautiful and spacious park! The grounds are well maintained and I was sincerely surprised to see it was large enough to house several buildings and to have so much additional room after hosting several stages and multiple booths for Taste Addison. After attending one event here, I would be happy to attend more. It's not your typical park with a playground, but there are plenty of park like attributes. The fountains are a lovely touch. The walking path is very wide- easy for someone to jog/run by people on the other side without having to slow down. There are restrooms in the yellow building up front. There wasn't much in the way of cover. There are two larger buildings and a cottage on one side of the park, but nothing on the other side. The awning is an open one. Therefore, come on a pretty day, not when it's raining. I loved that there were so many older trees, I didn't even notice any recently planted ones. It makes it feel officially outdoorsy instead of an afterthought. I could see this being very peaceful on a weekday when it's not crowded.

Cute little park in the middle of Addison. I visited on a cool, sunny Saturday afternoon for some acroyoga practice with a friend. There is so much grass that makes it a perfect place to practice acro! I also saw some people having picnics - there are plenty of trees with nice shady areas that make the park great for picnics! Parking is available on the sides of the park. I had no problems finding a place to park.

Wow, this is a beautiful park. It has over 372,000 sq ft of outdoor and indoor space, water and electrical hookups, performance venues, public restrooms, covered pavilion, concession kitchen, water garden, fountains, fields, and walking trails. Also, it's dog friendly! Parking is free here. You can park on the street or in their parking lot on the corner of Addison Road and Addison Circle. My husband and I hung out here and walked around the trail. There were so many people exercising, walking their dogs, sitting in the grass, etc. It made me wish that I had my dogs with me! The park itself is pretty big with nice grassy areas. It was a nice sunny, cool, and windy day and folks were also flying kites. So relaxing... 72/100 Reviews for 2015
