We had the pleasure of working with Mary on the purchase of our second home, and we couldn't be happier with the experience. This was definitely a stressful transaction, but she made the entire process as smooth and stress-free as possible. She is incredibly experienced, knowledgeable, and truly knows what she's doing. What stood out to us most was how much she advocated for us as her clients and always made sure our best interests were being looked after. We always felt supported and confident that we were in good hands. She has also taken on managing our property, and she made that transition just as seamless. It has been such a relief knowing that our home is in capable hands. We are so grateful for everything she has done for our family and would 100% recommend her to anyone looking for a realtor who is knowledgeable, trustworthy, responsive, and genuinely cares about her clients. Thank you for making what could have been an overwhelming experience so much easier! read more

Mary is nothing short of a miracle worker. When our first realtor did a less than competent job representing us resulting in our home sale falling through, we turned to Mary. Not only did she get multiple offers for us, but she got our house sold before our mortgage payment was due. She also represented us in the purchase of our new home. If you're looking for an agent who not only knows the business, and is also determined to look out for your best interest, there is NO ONE better than Mary Tan Addington. read more

I was referred to Mary by my loan officer Tony. I am so lucky to have had these two hard workers on my side. Mary is always happy ,energetic, and gets back to me with any updates immediately. This is her passion let's just say she was there with my boyfriend and I when we signed closing documents at 4am and she didn't not have to be . They made the process smooth and we all know buying a home is stressful from the emotions to wondering if you are doing the right sale at the right price and will it sell. Did I mention Mary sold my condo after a few days after the listing and the same day we bought our forever home in a safe neighborhood. I was so overwhelmed thinking will I get the asking price? well it went over listing price by 15,000 and we closed out our forever home 10,000 below asking price. You tell me what agent has and can do that? Mary is the agent you want on your side. She will sit down with you and explain the difference in what numbers can make. Not to mentions safe neighborhoods. The first day I met her I knew I would not call my first agent back. read more

My wife and made a decision to sell our home. We did just like many and interviewed professionals and decided on a realtor. At this point we took a referral from a very happy family and after a couple of months of talking we moved forward and signed a real estate sales agreement. We didn't know it then but soon realized the mistake we made. For 57 days we were held hostage and eventually were extorted for money to be released from the agreement. It didn't stop there but the added expenses this so called professional cost us was unimaginable. During this period of great stress came a queen and king, Mary and Ray Addington. From the very beginning, they jumped in with all four feet, and went to work. That very same evening, photos were taken, listing went up within hours and we had offers immediately. In the 57 days we were held hostage not a single offer! So you can see how excited my wife and I were and on gaurd at the same time. With that said, there were many calls, emails at all hours because now our behavior was one of, we need to be in the know every single step of the way. Normally, this is not how we would have done business but we were burned pretty bad and didn't want to take any more chance of it happening again. Well, not only didn't not happen again but Mary and Ray exceeded our expectations and worked their buts off as if we were their only client. Of course we knew we weren't but they treated us as if. If your look for a team that will go the extra mile and to the mats for you, then look no further!! The husband and wife team of Mary & Ray Addington should be your first and only call to sell your home and help you buy your next one. My wife and I are forever greatful that Mary and Ray took us on as clients knowing what had just happen to us. But, that because our home was on the market for 57 days and no offers, many would think something would have been wrong with it. Even though that it couldn't have been further from the truth. The property inspection only revealed a couple of missing wire nuts and a GFI receptacle. The way Mary & Ray jumped into action, it's as if they made the appearance of a problem magically disappear. We ended up with multiple offers and sold out home. If I'm not mistaken, it was between 28-31 days from the beginning to the close of escrow. We couldn't be happier with the results and impressed beyond belief with Mary and Ray. We don't normally give referrals but in this case it couldn't be more deserving. The Addington Group will will go all the way and more for you, trust them as we do. I promise you won't be sorry. read more

It was a pleasure working with Mary as my agent selling my condo. I bought the unit with Mary's help back in 2015 and just sold it with her in Sept 2021. It was nice to just hand her the keys and walk away. That was back in late July, now 6 weeks later escrow is closed and life goes on. I wanted to wish Mary the best for her support and friendship during the selling process. I would definitely recommend Mary to anyone needing an experienced real estate agent. read more

We were referred to Mary by a relative who works in the real estate industry. We were sold on her energy, professionalism, efficiency, and also her ability to solve any problem that came up. We were selling my mother's house after she passed and we needed to outsource the preparation of the house before sale and also the sell of the house. Mary was up for the task and she sold the house for asking price without ever putting it on the market. Mary's abilities can be described in one word "AMAZING"! If you want someone who will guide you every step of the way with expert advise and counsel in your real estate buying or selling, you must, must, must get Mary Tan Addington as your realtor! Smart. Honest. Tenacious. Communicative. Expert Negotiator. We sold our house for almost $100,000 over the market rate. It's no surprise that she and her husband win Top Producing Awards all the time. A little background...We hadn't sold a house in 30 years and we had no clue on how to market our house in Simi Valley. Mary worked with us to make small improvements that resulted in huge return. She didn't roll her eyes when I asked her to explain the process for the umpteenth time. Moreover, if I was getting nervous during the process, Mary would be calm, look me straight in the eye, and say to me over and over, "Do I look worried? No. So if I'm not worried, you shouldn't be worried." Mary used every opportunity to optimize our Open House showings. She puts out tons of signage and flags. Our neighbors commented on all the traffic in the cul-de-sac. Also, the buyer of our house had a hard time getting qualified for the loan. I swear that Mary worked harder than the buyers' realtor in getting them qualified. In my opinion, Mary deserved that commission, too. You will not go wrong if you get Mary working for you. I give my 100% positive recommendation!! read more
