I had see BumbleBee Skincare and waxing on my way to and from work and just passed it thinking parking would be inconvenient. However, I made a hassle free appointment using the MindBOdy app and realized they have free parking around the corner. I was a little skeptical initially so I only booked an under arm appointment. When I entered the business, I was brightly greeted by their amazing front desk associate. She was kind and professional. I really miss that quality of care in customer service but had become accepting of it. This was a great change. I was also happy to feel taken care of by a very knowledgable professional. I happen to ask how long they've been in business and was not surprised to find out it was 19 years. You can really tell when a business care for their employees and their well being. I really wish I had started my waxing experience here. The wax or method they use is fast, effective and pretty much painless. I left happy and with a wonderful face scrub and was happy that I found a new home for waxing. It feels absolutely luxurious and spa like. I went home and booked a brazilian for the next day. The usual dread of certain areas that are usually very painful were unperceived by the conversation. My surprise at how efficient and fast my wax was left me beyond grateful and knowing I'd found a new go-to place. They do not practice soft touch application…read morelike some of the other places in Tallahassee and during the follow up appointment she got into a blood vessel by my eye and I have a permanent black smudge that looks awful! When it happened she told me it would be able to be covered up with a good concealer and would eventually go away. By the way - she happened to have the concealer and didn't even have the courtesy to give it to me! I paid a premium price for it. After two years the smudge is still there and I've been told by three professionals can only be removed with plastic surgery! I have since gone to another permanent makeup professional for a touch up and an attempt to fix the job and will be providing a separate review for her. She also advised that she could not fix the damaged area - it would require plastic surgery - but the entire experience was SO MUCH different! Little to no pain and total professionalism which makes it easy to rate Styles of Elegance so low.
