Over the years, I gained weight and now weigh around 115 pounds. I've always been petite with a natural C cup, but after having three beautiful children, my breasts were no longer the shape I wanted. Looking back, I wish I had listened to my first plastic surgeon when he recommended getting a breast lift along with my augmentation. Instead, I only chose implants to restore the volume I had lost. The results were great for the first 10-14 years, but as I gained weight, gravity and the additional breast tissue caused my breasts to become much larger and droopier. I eventually started to hate how oversized and saggy they looked. For the last 2-3 years, I had been wanting a breast lift with new implants. I researched countless plastic surgeons in Las Vegas because I'm extremely picky. At one point, I even put down a $2,000 deposit with another surgeon, but I got nervous, canceled the surgery, and waited almost two more years. Then my girlfriend recommended Dr. Richard. My mother had surgery at this facility on Monday .We were told the procedure would take around 1 hour and 45 minutes and that she would remain for observation afterward. Instead, less than an hour later, I received a call saying she was ready to go home. I was extremely confused and concerned because this was completely different from what we had been told beforehand, and she in fact was send home without observation. After returning home, I was responsible for helping care for my mother. I was shocked by the condition she was in. She was experiencing significant bleeding, and I felt completely terrified and overwhelmed because I was genuinely afraid something was seriously wrong. I also felt that she had not been given adequate postoperative instructions, supplies, or the proper garment needed for her recovery. Another major concern was the procedure itself. My mother originally wanted a mommy makeover, but ultimately underwent a BBL, which requires very specific postoperative care and creates significant limitations on sitting and normal daily activities. She was not prepared for how demanding this recovery would be. When we contacted the facility regarding our concerns, we were told that because she had signed the paperwork, they had no responsibility once she left the facility. Hearing that as a family member who was watching her struggle was incredibly upsetting. I take responsibility for the fact that my mother ultimately made the decision to have the surgery, and I wish she had done more research beforehand. However, as her daughter, I cannot ignore what I witnessed during her recovery. Please, please do your research before choosing any surgical facility. Ask questions about postoperative care, what happens if complications occur after you leave, what supplies and garments are provided, how long you will actually be monitored, and exactly what support is available afterward. I am not writing this review to attack anyone. I am writing it because I genuinely hope another family does not experience the fear, confusion, and distress that we have experienced. A surgical decision is incredibly serious, and patients deserve to feel safe, informed, and properly cared for before, during, and after their procedure. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this facility.

I had a breast lift and implants back in Dec 2017; done by Dr. Sohn. My consult was great and him and his staff made me so excited I made right decision. After a couple days post-op, one of my nipples started turning black and actually was falling off. They didn't seemed concerned about it but it was absolutely disgusting and it got very infected; but, thank goodness it slowly started "healing." I say it that was because it did not heal very well and the scarring was hideous. My nipples were also very uneven and not pointing straight. In the first week I let them know that I was having what seemed some not normal pain on the side of my right breast. They said things we just tender and it would subside. Weeks, months, a year and half go by and it was still hurting. On top of all that, all my incision scars looked like someone took a dull knife and hacked away at my breast. My scars were very wide, very bumpy, and very dark - despite following doctor's specific post-op recovery measures to a T. I couldn't even look at my breast in the mirror without wanting to cry for over a year and a half. I looked mutilated. I finally went back to Dr Sohn with my concerns of the scars and pain. At first, he was extremely defensive and said they didn't look bad at all. We point blank asked him, "can you seriously look at my breasts and be PROUD of your work?" He finally agreed they needed revisions, and he would address the pain issue as well. I went in for another surgery for the scar revisions and the pain issue. Within the first week I could tell that the pain in my right breast was worse. I brought this up and they told me, again, to give it time. I also noticed very early on that my implants were now not level - left being higher. Also was told to give it time. My scars didn't look much better either. Week after week I went in for follow ups with no change or progress, still uneven, still in pain, and scars just looking horrendous. They offered ultrasound therapy doe the pain; but after months of that I got no relief. They gave me plenty of drugs to try to manage the pain but I had no interest in popping oxy on the regular or for the long term. I brought my concerns to the office manager and all I was offered was a referral for pain management or a consult with doctor Hankins. After paying for two surgeries already, I wasn't about to go into a third at the same Practice. And a referral for pain management for damage their doctor caused? It's just unacceptable in my opinion. After three and half years and tens of Thousands of dollars later, I am still in constant pain and have disfigured breast. I'll have to live with this the rest of my life unfortunately. Do yourself a favor and seek consults with multiple surgeons, read reviews, ask around - don't settle and don't end up like me. Healing has gone so well for me and way easier than I though it was going to be! My incision was so nicely stitched up and I have great confidence that it will be super light once completely healed.
