Everything is bright, clean, and organized. The staff were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and prompt. they followed all covid-19 state regulations and made me feel very welcomed during my visit. I opted to take the paint splatter class. that room is separate from the main studio. The room was clean (minus the paint splatters haha), very organized, and spacious. you can safely fit several people in that space.they have a bench with storage so you can safely store your valuables without getting paint on them. They allowed me to bring a tripod, and they provided a Bluetooth speaker so you can play your preferred music as you paint. They supply the paint,canvas,paint suits, wipes, and shoe covers. Showed up. They had a table reserved for us. They have out our canvases and some told to customize our art such as painters tape. We spent a little time prepping our piece. We then were escorted to our paint room. We were given our appropriate clothing to protect our clothes. Even prompted to take off our shoes and wear shoe booty covers. We were allowed to connect to their speakers and play our own music. They leave you alone in the room, light on or off- your choice. We cranked that music up and got to work! There was a little tray with different colors and paintbrushes. Hang your picture high or on the ledge and just have fun! Self edit yourself. We were a mess, the floor became slippery but we had fun! The kids (8 and 10) had a great time! My husband- he enjoyed it too! Really impressed with the facility overall. All kinds of different projects to choose from. You can all sit together and all have different projects you are working on and staff help guide you on your craft journey. How cool! The owner was super nice. It's very clean. We ended up walking thru the store and finding all kinds of interesting beads. One daughter came to me to show me these magnetic beads and my other daughter at the same time brought me a magnetic bracelet and we all looked at each other intrigued with the possibilities. We asked Lydia the owner about the bracelet and offered for us to make it in the store. Lydia took both girls ages 8 & 9 years old thru the steps and the girls spent an hour and a half or a little more figuring out the beads they wanted to use, pattern and colors and actually beading the wire. Lydia was great. Very passionate and knowledgeable. Overall we were there over 2 hours between walking the store and picking and making our bracelets. Now fast forward and we just celebrated our daughter's 10th birthday and all 14 girls enjoyed themselves. They can't wait to go to school and show off their bracelets! Lydia and her assistant Lynn were great. Overall it went well and the parents were raving at the quality and beauty of the girls bracelets. We will be back to learn how to make other bracelet styles. The store is essentially a storybook cottage, filled to the brim with everything a knitter or crocheter could ever want, and presided over by the fabulous "Auntie Zaza"! Yes, the owner of the shop is an ever-delightful presence, enchanting shoppers with her bubbly personality and enthusiastic manner. She even gives knitting lessons to craftspeople of all ages and skill levels, and even though I haven't knit a stitch in my life, I look forward to signing up for one of her classes in the near future. The owner has spent a lot of time in Seattle (where I live) and was even able to give me recommendations for a good yarn store there, as I've been struggling to find a good fit for me! The campers were not allowed to use either. They did "miniature" day, every day with either cooking or creating clay objects. She was only allowed to use a small amount of any product. She did not have fun and was bored. She was doing way more art projects at another regular day camp (at a quarter of the cost). After reading all the great reviews, we were really disappointed. If all you want is baby sitting, you will most likely like this place but if you have a budding artist, looking for something a little extra, suggest looking elsewhere.

There's a vaguely Ocean State Job Lot or Christmas Tree Shops vibe in parts of the store, which makes it feel more like a discount décor warehouse than a true hobbyist destination. Not sure what I was hoping for, but overall, it's pretty dull and uninspiring. If you're into scrapbooking or wreath-making, maybe it's for you--but if you're looking for actual hobby supplies, you'll probably leave disappointed.

Only when I was almost done did another employee (the same one I saw peaking at me) come up to help. Tell me why, when your only open 1 weekend day- and that day is before a holiday and you have a huge sale- You don't have an employee staying in the area? There was plenty of fabric to put away- it was piled high on the tables and floor all around- so it wasn't that the employee didn't have work to keep her busy in the fabric section.
