His paintings draw you in with their movement, energy, and thoughtful detail and leave a lasting impression through the moods they evoke. One piece that I have in my home, a rich, deep purple field traversed by a wide, curving river of gold leaf, conveys calm and serenity. The other, a small orange and yellow spattering of bright axons and dendrites, sparks energy and joy. Sri Prabha's ever-evolving artistic techniques and conceptual destinations offer reliably dynamic and new perspectives into nature and art.

Some of the artist's more recent works are produced through a special process that involves the use of multiple layers of paint and resin to create depth and dimension in his work that is truly unique. Through the process, his paintings become sculpture and he is able to express complex ideas in a format that does not necessarily require a large canvas. The artist's larger pieces are of the caliber that you would expect to find permanently displayed in public places where they can be appreciated by a wide audience. I would recommend visiting the artist's audio where you can learn more about what inspires him to use various types of media and how his work evolves into a finished piece. He has clearly developed his own voice and techniques through years of practice and dedication. Sri's work should appeal to both the casual collector as well as the serious art investor who wishes to add something noteworthy to a portfolio.

While in South Africa two years after apartheid fell I purchased a traditional Zulu weapon called an Iwisa. It's one of the famous weapons the Zulu's used to defeat the British during the infamous Anglo-Zulu Wars. After graduating MDCC I went on an quest to Southern India seeking rare Sanskrit manuscripts that elucidated the mystery's of life and meditation. While there I purchased a magnificent metal sculpture of Nataraja (the dancing Shiva/Rudra) near Mahabalipuram. I've always been fond of lightning and thunder god's like Rudra, Thor and Baal Adad. Which brings me to Dita, typically I have tunnel vision when I'm in the Yellow Green farmers market and I usually don't notice anything but exactly what I'm looking for. But I happened to catch a glimpse of Dita painting a beautiful piece of Ganesha which caused me to stop and scrutinize her creation. http://bit.ly/1NOd1Yv My eyes also caught a hold of a painting of a mermaid. I inquired Dita about this piece and she told me she was quite fond of painting mermaids, she then showed me some of her other mermaid pieces on her facebook page. I was really impressed by her passion for creating art and I admired her riveting energy. Something connected between me and her, not sure what it was but I liked it, so I decided to peruse her boothe for a painting that my spirit would be pleased with. http://bit.ly/1NOd6vb http://bit.ly/1NOd6vp http://bit.ly/1NOd6LO After looking at her paintings I was drawn to a Nataraj-esque dancing Durga painting, Durga/Kali is actually one of my favorite Goddesses... she's so sexy and so dangerous. Dita informed me the piece was $50, I bought it immediately. http://bit.ly/1NOddHh ++ she make's jewelry http://bit.ly/1Niii7J ++ she has a catalog of different henna styles she does http://bit.ly/1Nii9B8 ++ she doe's custom painting. ++ she's located in booth 42, in the aisle furthest west around the mid section of the building. ++ she takes CC's
