ALL WITHIN TWO WEEKS. We had to be out of state and we thought the adoption would compromise the loan processing and closing on the new house. Beny arranged mobile notaries, scanned, faxed, called, and would have even arranged smoke signals if it meant getting us our dream home. He went above and BEYOND to ensure we were supported. They went above and beyond to help us get the best rate possible, communication was clear and concise, were accessible and available when needed, and kept us informed every step of the way. The most defining moment of the experience for me was their support and partnership when things unexpectedly did not go as planned as we neared the close of our escrow. They worked with us and our agent to figure out plan B, C, and D alternatives, which allowed us to close on time under a very high pressure situation. Had it not been for their partnership and teamwork, it could easily have resulted in us losing our deposit. In my experience one can make a good judge of character and team when things do NOT go as planned. They responded with speed and the utmost professionalism, and simply put we would not have closed on time without them. Their connections in Bend, the sheer volume of work they do in our area, their high standards and great communication--all of these things meant we had a seamless selling process. I would never use this organization to buy sell or rent list or do business with them in anyway shape or fashion. They are uncommunicative they lack Ethics and don't do business in good faith. I rented a property on December 8 signing a lease that was fully executed and legally ratified and gave the owner a security deposit. Over the past two months we coordinated my move with the owner making sure the utilities were in my name and making arrangements to pick up the key on the move in date which is February 1. My family made arrangements to fly in to help me with the move and I paid a mover as well. There were a great deal of arrangements that were necessary and I forwarded my mail. This last Friday less than a week before my move I received a casual email from the landlord that she would not be allowing me to move in. She gave no excuses or reasons. I found out that she had actually sold the house and never took it off the market during the period of time that she showed me the house, executed the lease, took the security deposit, and coordinate my move. Thinking that she had an obligation to at least tell her buyer, the title company, the broker, and all associated contacts, I contacted the Harcourt Garner group to try to gain some assistance. They would do nothing! They referred me to their attorney who stonewalled me at every juncture. They are unethical and a bad neighborhood and community partners. The bottom line is doing business with them is a risk and I would never take it

    For the most part it was difficult working with Kathy. She was impossible to get a hold of outside…read moreof business hours(or on her vacation) and didn't communicate with me through every step of the process. I was always the one following up to ask about the next step instead of her telling me what the next step would be. My friend was smart enough to see these issues early on and was smart enough to work with another lender. However, I was far enough along it was too late for me to easily switch. I'm glad I've worked with other lenders buying other houses--I imagine it would be very difficult to work with Kathy as a first time home buyer. She forgot to update me how much money I would need at closing, resulting in me scrambling for thousands of dollars last minute, and resulting in costly unnecessary wire fees. She apologized this and said she would 'absolutely reimburse me' for these fees. It's now been almost 3 months and I haven't heard another word about it from her. She did admit she was busier than she had been in the past and hired an office assistant--maybe that will help her with her future clients. However, I will use another lender for my next purchase in Bend.
