She's more comfortable speaking Chinese, so if you speak Mandarin, communication will be even smoother. Even if you don't, she's very kind, patient, and makes sure you're comfortable the entire time. It's been a while since I've had extensions and I was looking for a place nearby. I was eyeing Ada Lash's Mountain View location for quite a while until I realized there was one in Palo Alto so I reached out to book a time! Booking was really easy. You reach out through their site and they'll text you to set up an appointment. As soon as you walk in, they'll go over what kind of style you're looking for, length, how dramatic you want it to look, and how dense/light you want the lashes to be which I thought was really nice! They really customize it to your wants. My appointment took a little over an hour but it's so calm and relaxing inside that I'm pretty sure I fell asleep at the end and woke up looking super glam. I had asked for a classic set on the shorter end with longer lashes at the end for a cat eye look for just an every day kind of look and they totally nailed it! Ada is the best! I tried a few places before Ada and all of them gave me some degree of irritation and gave me the wrong impression that I have to "deal with it" if I want nice lashes. Ever since I tried with Ada, I have been her royal customer for years. She is the only one who can do super natural lashes for me and I don't feel a thing afterwards! Guess what? I love how they take care of their clients before and after application! I went for my first appointment in Palo Alto studio 2 days ago. The whole experience was extremely pleasant. Ada Lash team was very professional, they provided consultation session before the actual application and went over all my questions and concerns. I'm disappointed with this place. I looked for a lash place that would do a nice natural look for me at a reasonable price. The first appointment went well. From there went downhill and the communication was off and uncomfortable. After my second appointment I received a series of texts saying I owed them more money after I left. I said I would send the difference they miscalculated upon check out when I parked my car since I was driving and had to speak into my phone. Sent the money after more texts. Felt uncomfortable especially since I had already paid amply in tip to cover the difference I was asked for, seems like they could of let their own mistake go. Then when I go to make my next appointment I'm told that they need a deposit. I never actually made a deposit the first two times and when I pointed it out they say their records indicate that I did, I sent them the total for the last time I paid and then they state that oh, ok, no deposit we will see you at your appointment. That also felt uncomfortable as they accused me of something I did not do and decided I wasn't telling the truth. Lastly I have been only doing individual lashes and was clear when I started that I do not like the cluster look and only want individual lashes. I asked on my third appointment if I can do a little thicker just not much more, my lashes came mostly off before my two week time period this last time and thought maybe I should do a little more to prevent it. I was very clearly told that I can do one step up from classic and do something where you do one lash on my lash and one of either side. Since I understood it was still individually placed I was ok with it. When I was done it seemed like something that was five levels up and not one. Very full. The next morning one fell off and it was a cluster(fan) lash and not individually placed and I unfortunately understood why it looked so bad on me. I reached out and simply asked to note on my account to not do that since I admittedly said I wouldn't ever want that and was told that it would be individually placed. I was very cleared told it was one lash on each side and one on the lash that was the explanation I received when describing what I'd get. I was told that they told me it would be a fan lash and not individually place (according to their records) and debated with me again that I was wrong. I genuinely do not understand what I'm doing wrong with them but according to them I'm always wrong in some way. I had high hopes after the first time I visited, from there it just got uncomfortable. Between my lashes not lasting two weeks, to the uncomfortable I didn't pay them enough texts, to being asked for a deposit and our records indicating that I did pay them before to me having to prove otherwise to the now I'm not being truthful on what I was told I'd receive texts. The business needs some organization skills to not treat their customers like this. It's so annoying to be clear on everything to be given a look I was clear I'd never want. I pay well and I tip well. I unfortunately cannot recommend them and cannot return since it's just uncomfortable to deal with and doesn't seem to stop and for some reason I'm always lying and always wrong. This sort of thing shouldn't happen much less happen as much as it did and it left me feeling uncomfortable and bad each time. *update to the reply. I'm not confused, I've been very clear on everything all along. You kept telling me I was wrong in one way or another and everything ended with me being wrong. This is what I have been looking for in a long time. I am so thrilled with my Hybrid Kitten Style Ada Lash did for me. Needed a lash appointment for a dinner plan last minute, they were able to accomodate my request last minute. Whole appointment took about 1 hour and 30 minutes, offered me hot coffee during the consultation. I already knew what I wanted but took their advice on length and style. Started to fall asleep right away because the place was quiet and the artist 's work was so gentle. Once I was done, they provided a small mirror to me to check the work and I LOVE THEM!
