Staff was very friendly check-in, this appears to be a family own place, very nice spot to stop. Guymon had several restaurants and shops so there's resources nearby if you need.

After a long day on the road, we rolled up with no reservations and they made accommodations for us in just a few minutes. Very friendly and kind staff, put us in a pull through back in the park not far from the old movie screen thats still standing. Crushed stone interior roadways are wide and easy to navigate, and the sites have a decent amount of green space between them. Nice wide level gravel base sites, our site had a fairly decent sized tree on it that gave a little shade for our HDT which was nice, but not for our rv. The weather was shifting so shade was not as important as it was a month earlier. We had good utilities that were fairly close to each other, solid water pressure and a decent power supply. The park has a camp store, laundry and showers, as well as an onsite rv repair shop and technician with rv storage. There are an equal number of long term campers and well as daily pass through travelers. 4 Stars a decent rv park in the area, and perhaps the nicest one in the Guymon area, it met our needs for our time there and would stay again if in the area. 01316

They also stock variety of beer and sodas plus ice and just about any snack you could possibly need. The owners go above and beyond from the moment you walk into the store making you feel welcome. If you dont see what you need just ask and they will do there best to get items in for next time you stop by this great establishment. Lets not forget they also have a RV park on site. Just a few minutes away from the lake and boat dock. Make sure to stop in and say hello.

The huge problem was the cockleburs. Everywhere you stepped (including right outside our parking spot), tiny, sticky, VERY sharp cockleburs that stick to the soles of your shoes and get carried into your vehicle . . .They bury themselves into any soft surface--rug, carpet, clothes . . . That meant we had to carry our dog to a concrete or gravel area to do his business. For that reason, we won't go back.

We are telling and are approximately 50 feet and fit into the spots really nicely. All the spots are very large. What's best is the customer service. We called at midnight last night and somebody answered and said they had vacancy. We did not have this experience in the other campgrounds in Amarillo. In fact this is the only campground the answer their phone at all hours of the night. Other campgrounds didn't even have anything listed On their office showing vacancy spots or even a map of what they have open. Will definitely be stopping here again! The spot was $26/ night. We paid in the deposit box

The campground isn't fancy, but it's got great pull through sites with 30/50 amp power. We parked on the far left corner & had the best clear view of an open field. Very pretty, small trees. We paid the discounted passport America price, you just find your spot first, park, then walk over to the front office. You fill out an envelope with cash or check & put it in the slot. We didn't see anyone at the front office either of the two times we have camped here & that's just our style. They do offer free WiFi which wasn't too bad, except for peak hours. We loved staying here! I don't know if there are showers or laundry, because we live in our Motorhome & didn't need that anyways.
