Coffee toffee frozen yogurt and grape nuts ice cream

I love ice cream and this place did not disappoint! I was afraid that we wouldn't find good homemade ice cream in the February, but thankfully Acushnet was open! And busy! The line was long but the staff were working hard to make it go as quickly as possible. It gave us some time to pick flavors, which wasn't easy, because so many of them sounded so good! We loved what we had (pictured) and would definitely go back again!

Homemade ice cream in tons of Flavor options! Delicious! Line is never too long and they employ highschool kids

Only in New England would there be a line out the door for ice cream on a 20 degree day in February! I can't imagine how busy this place would get in the summer. Acushnet Creamery seems to be super popular and for good reason! I had a delicious large ice cream sundae with hot fudge, whipped cream, sprinkles, and two scoops of peanut butter oreo ice cream! I also got a hand-packed pint of strawberry cheesecake ice cream to take home. The prices are totally reasonable, my total was less than $17 with tip for the super friendly and efficient kids working here! The ice cream is somewhere in the middle of the spectrum from dense/creamy to light/fluffy.Would definitely recommend no matter the weather!

Chocolate Mint Cookie and Strawberry Shortcake

Came here after apple picking at Keiths Farm that is down the road. I ordered the chocolate mint cookie and strawberry shortcake ice cream flavors on a waffle cone, it was soo good! I definitely recommend coming here and everyone in our party enjoyed their flavors as well! The only downside is that you had to build your ice cream together, so basically my waffle cone was wrapped in aluminum foil and the ice cream were in a cup container and I had to "build it", but it is what it is and every food establishment is trying their best during times like these. The process of ordering online was easy and we got there texted them and voila they came with our order.

Take 5 Sundae in a chocolate dipped waffle bowl, and a peanut butter cup sundae

Once again, we found ourselves at our favorite spot in the area for ice cream. You should expect to wait in line, but I promise it's worth the wait! If you don't have to wait in line, consider yourself to be lucky. My go to here is a peanut butter cup sundae with vanilla ice cream. It consists of peanut butter sauce, hot fudge, Reese's pieces, whipped cream, Reese's peanut butter cups, and your choice of ice cream. It's huge, so be prepared. If you love peanut butter you will absolutely love this sundae. My son has gotten the Take 5 sundae multiple times and thinks it's the best thing ever. It has pretzels, hot fudge, caramel, peanut butter, whipped cream, with your choice of ice cream. He pushed it to the next level by having it in one of their homemade chocolate dipped waffle bowls. I don't recommend doing this unless you have a large appetite as he was too full once he finished his once cream. I also have tried the chocolate dipped waffle bowl for my sundae but it was too much. One recommendation is bring your own spoon, seems that they have downgraded to cheaper spoons, which bend completely in half while your trying to eat. Another tip, if you love ice cream cakes stop buying the mediocre ones from the grocery store. Acushnet Creamery makes homemade custom ice cream cakes to order. Just make sure you give them at least 2 weeks notice, you won't regret it!

The ice cream was very delicious. The service was organized and they took our order quickly. It took more time to get our sundaes and there was no seating available. There are a few tables and some benches on site but since it was very hot on a Sunday obviously it was very busy. LUCKY fort is there is a fantastic park right next door with a huge playground and picnic tables in the shade Definitely recommend

One of the best ice cream places around. Made locally. Staff is always friendly. Lines move quickly even though they may be out the door.

If you go here and you see a line out the door, it's because it's so darn good! Wait in line, it moves fast, and it will be so, SO worth it!

Parking is tight but we lucked out and got a spot just as another car was leaving. My husband and I both ordered the Impossible Burger ($9/each) with different toppings and I was surprised to see standard toppings got individual surcharges. Seems a penny-pinching when the burger costs so much more than their regular burger. I had sweet potato fries as a side and my husband got clam chowder, both of which were excellent. Wanted to try the Pumpkin Oreo ice cream but they ran out. Only negatives were the flies (everywhere, including the dining room) and the strange debit system that charges you in increments of $5 and adds on an ATM fee. However, there's no actual ATM on premises so you pay a surcharge but you can't even get any extra money to take with you when you go. Hope they change that up in the future.

Having a line of people for 2 hours isn't really worth it. Most of our guest felt the lines were long and a delay in getting the food and hogging the line was disappointing I recommend for a larger gathering use a caterer who gives min. of 3 hours serving time. 2 hours is not enough and the 2 hours is firm on the shut down lol For the value it came out to $35 per person For dogs and burgers. I was the birthday person and the lines were so long i ended up just getting a hotdog so the guests could eat. Should have went to Kool Kone and got 65 plates and a few pizza's. Probably a better value and experience. The drinks were very difficult to get. We purchased 3 cases of water and 4 cases of other drinks. Most guests went to our fridge since the drinks were not readily available. The staff of 3 in the trailer were pretty focused on the food and not the drinks or ice cream. Most guests didn't even know we had ice cream. No trash barrels by the caterer and nothing left over either. For a small party of 25 might be worth jt but over 35-45 not sure it is. Very expensive burger party. We have learned a good lesson. I am sure no one who pay $35 for a burger , fries and (mostly cool) soda FYI plan 10 percent less than you truly think, you will bot get all of the guests served in 2 hours. We had alot if people just eat later after they left due to the lines . Feedback- for an 18% built in tip felt service should have been better, informed of choices trying to get people to try more. It felt like you were expected to get 1 items and more along. $2500 burger party, next time a caterer who has stuff prepared, and minimize the lines.
