As for the office, it is very clean with a relaxed feeling to it. There are large windows inside which face out to a courtyard. This creates a sort of tranquil setting. I call ahead of time and make an appointment. You can walk in but you may have to wait. It can get busy at times. I always leave in a euphoric state, stumbling onto my bike with a grin. I've had many sessions of acupuncture before and this place is absolutely horrendous. I asked for acupuncture and what they offer is massage with free acupuncture. I ignored the "free" red flag and figured the combination might be nice. As I lay in my undies, face down, someone swiped what I presume is alcohol on my neck and lower back. "Good," I thought, "cleanliness." Next thing I know a woman is sticking what felt like sewing needles in my neck and yelling every time, "AAAAHHHH! DOET PIJN! AAAAAAHHHH" Well, guess what: it did hurt like hell so I said "It hurts!" at which point she screamed louder to drown out my voice: "AAAAAHHHH!!!! OMA [turns out that's her name] DOET MISHANDELING!!!! AAAAAAHHHH!!!!!" The needles hurt even more when I talked, telling her to stop because it was hurting. She screamed louder and louder. I felt a liquid substance run down my neck but couldn't move my arms to check whether it was blood. Eventually I just lied there because it was the least painful thing to do, and prayed to God that nothing horrible would come of this. The torture went on but you get the gist of it. Never a-[expletive]-gain. Several parts of my body hurt as I write this and in one spot where a needle was it feels like I had a mean shot.

After he rubbed two spots on my ankle for literally 5 minutes he said 50 euros for each foot. We had trouble discussing the unfair exchange of 50 euros for the time he spent on a foot. After not understanding for several minutes he motioned for us to leave and we happily agreed. I wouldn't recommend coming to this place without speaking the language or having a translator.
