I have had chronic back pain since the birth of my youngest daughter. I suffered nearly every day of my life so much that I was taking anything and everything I could to numb the pain. Found this place on yelp and decided to give it a try based on reviews which are very true. Dr. Yang is AMAZING! I had surgery on my knee 2 yrs ago and I'm trying to get back in shape but I've been having a lot of pain during my workouts. Decided to give acupuncture a try for my pain. I went to my general doctor for my excruciating sciatic pain that I've had for 3 months. He did three (PRP) Platelet Rich Plasma injections, cortisone shots in my lower back plus pain and muscle spasm medication which was very costly. Needless to say I was in pain 24/7. This was my first acupuncture experience and Dr. Yang was extremely caring and resourceful! I was having neurological symptoms of tingling in my face and neck for months and acupuncture was recommended for me while I waited for my appointment with the neurologist. The symptoms I felt in my face were coming from this really tight muscle in my neck. Acupuncture definitely increased the range of motion in my neck and I noticed my neck muscles were a lot less tense. I had a really pleasant experience here and the staff was always very welcoming and personal. For my specific condition, my MRI and other tests all came back normal so it was presumed to be muscle related. Acupuncture helped me to manage the symptoms I was feeling, but the most crucial part of my recovery required a cortisone shot to reduce the inflammation of my muscle causing the pressure on my nerve. I would recommend acupuncture to anyone with muscle tightness and I would recommend Acupuncture Plus in particular because I felt Dr. Yang truly understood my pain and went to great lengths to try and help relieve my pain! Dr Yang is amazing. I have suffered from vertigo and have tried chiropractic therapy, the Epley maneuver, medications but none of these worked. i was referred to go see Dr. Yang by a customer at my job after he had seen me limping around because i was in so much pain because of my knee. (I do need knee surgery and i have arthritis on my knee) That Friday afternoon I called and made an appointment thinking that i would try since i was in so much pain. My mom has been dealing with back issues causing pain in her leg and hip for the better part of 6 months, and this has pretty much left her immobile for the entire length of time. We had the chance to meet Dr. Yang first time in 2006, to treat my wife left shoulder bursitis, to release her excruciated pains, which made our life miserable ! In October this year, we're been decided to look for Dr. Yang, and based on Yelp, we find him, again! My wife Emilia (70), had a cervical-shoulder pain, accompanied by a vertigo (based on a panic attack). I myself, Alex (74), came with my "old back pain" (herniated disk L3, L4-R) and a "brand new" neck pain (cervical C3-C5).
